However, TBA has hourly drops. Becky even suggested foregoing prebooking TBA at all and banking on a drop. Depends on how important it is for you though!
Yes good point. Since this is the āBasicā thread I try to avoid strategies that require more advanced knowledge, including drops, for which I refer people to La Cava. People who arenāt going to do drops will want to have TBA in hand before their trip.
Thatās risky to me. I personally donāt like relying on drops because you have to time it just right. What if Iām on a ride?
As drops go, TBA has been pretty easy to get (since it is dropped hourly), but yeah ā this is what I mean by sticking to basic strategies in this thread.
Have you found any cases other than TSM/ToT in HS where you might want to take a tier 2 prior to a Tier 1 based on availability?
The only one I can think of is if you want Mission Space, you might want to get it before Soarinā. But I donāt know why youād want to do that.

TSM and ToT are both higher priority than RnRC, MMRR, or MFSR. Here is todayās chart so far. TSM is the fastest draw of all, behind only SDD (and Rise).
They really need to move RnRC, MMRR, or MFSR to Tier 2 so there are more than only 2 good
Tier 2 options.
I have mixed feelings about it. By having more Tier 1 attractions, the other Tier 1s are much easier to get day of. In exchange, there are a couple Tier 2s that are harder to get. But Iām not sure thatās a bad trade-off ā¦
Not sure how much this helps, but we are going to WDW for a week. Plan to park hop and go to HS 4 times. Iāve purposefully scheduled 3 of those times for afternoon mainly due to the 1:17 and 3:47 drops.
I hope to really get what we need from SDD, TSM, and TOT in those drops.
Excellent work! ![]()
But maybe they can move one Tier 1 to Tier 2 (MMRR would be my preference).
Yeah maybe one wouldnāt be too bad. I donāt know though.
There isnāt enough attractions at HS period. So the available inventory will always be a problem until they add more demand / attraction. HS would be a great park to include all the meet and greets as Tier 2. But I fear Disney has an alternate plan of Meet and Greets. Maybe they can add a Fantasmic LL viewing areaā¦
This is the difference on how G+ worked between DL and WDW. The number of attractions per park in California made up for a lot of things. Trying to make people pick the same amount at WDW from a smaller pool just tightenes availability for everyone.
Is it available for anyone to read? We have a Aug 23rd trip and we are scrambling to figure out how to approach LLs
Yes itās the very first post in this thread. Scroll up to the top.
Do we have enough data to see on what day some rides sell out? For example can you get TBA or SDD in afternoon at the latest in 7+1?
There is a 21 day look out for LL avail shown on Thrill Data website.
At this link, click the attraction you are interested in. You can drill down by date to see how availability for that date has changed over time.
Looks like Thrill Data added some summary tables showing all attractions in each park! This is hard to read on a phone so I suggest using a desktop.
