I assume that by “arriving a day earlier” you mean that your check-in for your room is a day earlier than check-in for their room? If so, yes, you will only be able to buy / select for yourself on the day of your eligibility, and then you’d have to add theirs the next day. It might be easier to wait till you’re all eligible if you plan to ride together.
If by “arriving” you mean they are just flying in the next day but are on your reservation, you can book everyone on the day before as long as they are named on your reservation.
It could be beneficial to a split party where 1 is going a day or so later though. The later party buying tickets that start at the same time as the earlier party- so all LLs can be gotten together. Does that sound right?
But yeah, if someone is arriving earlier than their party, they should absolutely buy LLs for their solo day as soon as they are eligible.
Now, whether they buy LLs for their remaining days is a matter of preference. If they are definitely not going to deviate from the rest of their party’s plans, there’s really no benefit of buying for those days until their entire party is eligible.
So lets say Mario arrives on a Tuesday and Sylvester on a Wednesday. Wouldn’t it benefit Sylvester to buy a ticket that starts on Tuesday (not Wednesday) so Mario and Sylvester can book LLs together on… the previous Tuesday (7 days before Tuesday Im guessing is a Tuesday- still don’t know if arrival day counts as a day, lol).
Not 7 days before though, because that is only relevant for onsite stays – ticket start date has no relevance. For offsite stays, you’d get 3 days in this scenario.
If it’s not a package, I don’t see a big difference in ticket pricing if you will use them within the allotted time for the ticket. You dont have to do all the days straight. It usually only fluctuates a few dollars per day.
Correct, just in some cases people may have already maxed out their days (due to breaks or doing a long ticket that approaches the 14-consecutive-day limit) and need to add an extra day to accomplish this.
This is what I’m thinking. I could add them to the room but the cost (is it still $15 per person?) would probably not outweigh the benefits.
Still unknown (for a few weeks) if we will be able to use LL at the MNSSHP.
Super light crowd calendars for EPCOT and AK (both 5) so we probably won’t need them.
The only wait time in my touring plan for EPCOT is FEA. At AK the wait times are super low but possibly worth it to get it for Navi and even then we don’t want it until late afternoon so I don’t think we’ll need an extra day for that.
If the crowds were estimated to be higher, might be worth it.
So I had my LLM day yesterday. It’s our 20th anniversary trip, we have been a number of times and so my main goals were Tiana, Slinky, Tron, and Guardians. We also have Keys to the Kingdom and MNSSHP on the same day. I was quite pleased how it arranged items so I’m not going back and forth as much. It ordered my afternoon as: Tron, Buzz, Tiana, HM. It also overlapped things by 15 min
We have a capture your moment in Hollywood Batuu on the next day, and it put Rise immediately after, followed by all the Toy Story rides.
I didn’t feel the need to modify so I haven’t yet so I can’t speak to that.
