Correct. Basically the pre booking rules apply up until “day of”. Day of seems to be when a person taps into the first LL, not a specific time as previously thought. So you can modify and book new LL under the pre booking rules any time before you tap into the first LL. Then once you tap you are free of the Tier restrictions and are able to book at different parks as well.
An expiring LL does open up the opportunity to book a new LL. But you have to follow the rules of Pre-booking or day of- depending on what applies to you at that particular moment in time.
So far, the expired LLs have acted the same as they did with Genie. But now you have an official 60 minutes grace period. the 119 “in-practice” grace period has been tested and confirmed.
This is a conversation for the Advanced thread though. This opens up some stacking possibilities.
And I don’t really like it! I wish you could just tap into a park. It not only gives a big advantage to Rope Droppers but severely penalizes people that are only going to the parks in the afternoon.
I hate to say this but I think a person that was muted for 30 days was right about how bad this was going to be for people that didn’t go to the parks in the first part of the day
Agree. Makes me appreciate the defunct 2-hour rule. I had planned to only go to the parks in the afternoon for a relaxing trip with DH, but now I’m having second thoughts.
I have been consumed with the threads for the last 3 days. If I hadn’t been, I’d be waiting for Jeff’s magical summary too! I may read it just to brush up before I leave tomorrow.
I think there was a little to much drama with the statements. And really, it was all just conjecture. And I’m thinking they will never see that I said they were right (on that very limited topic only).
But it was wonderful to be told I was stupid and didn’t know what was good for me. It was almost like raising teenagers all over again.
