That is a.late posting I was just looking for this earlier today!
But July 20th? I leave on the 19th 
I wrote this and then found out my sister is going to be in Orlando the next week so I may shift my dates!

Honestly I believe bringing back a nighttime parade is a big step back in the right direction at least with my familyâŚvery exciting news.

I have been trying to figure out WHY Disney is adding this parade. I am happy about itâŚbut Disney doesnât do something that doesnât benefit them. A parade takes a lot of people to put on, and so is kind of expensive. But the parks remain being pretty full most of the time.
But then it occurred to me that wait times drop as you get into the eveningâŚso another offering other than fireworks seems like a good way to encourage people to stay in the park later. The longer they stay, the more likely people are to spend more money on food/snacks inside the park at a premium cost.
The parade might also draw in some people (ie, pass holders) into the parks when they might not usually bother coming otherwise.
Whatever the reason, I am excited about it.

They didnât say what time as coordinating this with fireworks is going to be challenging with crowds.

I did briefly consider changing up my trip so Iâm there over my birthday (THE premier date), butâŚ
1 - the cat sitter is all lined up for August
2 - Iâm seeing Cyndi Lauper in concert on the 19th
3 - I leave on the 23rd for the Reconciling Ministries Network Convocation in Wisconsin
On the plus side, hopefully by late August the vloggers and âinfluencersâ will have gotten their âpro shotsâ and it wonât be QUITE as crazy as opening night.

Agree completely that Disney doesnât do anything that doesnât benefit Disney- that said for us, again we are an all âadultâ family that will be heading to Orlando strictly for EPIC Universe. So yeah now i am adding MK evening.
They can definitely capitalize on this if they want to. Terra nova reservation traded for Saratoga Springs.
My DS and now DIL gave up their APs about two years ago- I am extremely excited to get them back in to the park for this- my kids remember it fondly and DIL has never seen it. So this parade also added MK tickets.
Silently praying that Disney adds a parade dining experience at Tonyâs ectâŚ
