Saratoga Springs Resort Questions

No because it’s 100 million miles away from everything

It’s where they always used to exclusively drop off for rideshare.

Did I mention it’s 100 million miles away from everything

I’ve never been directed anywhere. I park where I like :woman_shrugging:t4:

I meant “directed” in a loose fashion…basically, following the crowd, and the crowd always leads to the garages. But that Lemon lot is down by the East end, which could be handy if that’s where you want to start.

That’s a fair point. It’s definitely close to Circ and like that blues place restaurant

Oh…no, no. We’re talking about different lots. THAT lot I knew about.

But I mean all the way on the OTHER end, down by Earl of Sandwich and such. I didn’t realize there was a surface lot here…

Thank you all for the feedback! Very helpful.

With regard to the parking garages, it looks like a fairly quick drive and an easy experience. But in general parking garages stress me out with backing out of spots, tight corners, and lots of people, etc. Also I really like walking, just not so far that my kids will start whining. LOL

But I may give it a try if we go to DS more than once and don’t want to walk. Our first night we’re planning to go to Raglan Road after arrival.

Ohhhh

Huh I didn’t know there was lot there either. I’m trying to see it in my mind’s eye…

Get a collapsible wagon. If the kids whine- hop on in little ones. They arent the most comfortable for all day use but they are pretty handy and fold up similarly to a large camping chair.

Most of these are not allowed at Disney parks anymore (not sure about DS). But also I’m not a fan of them. I think pushing a stroller is easier.

I thought they were allowed in DS. I know they are restricted in the parks unless for medical necessity. I’ve seen some questionable instances of wagons being used in parks but not my call I guess.
They aren’t great in crowds anyway. But I loved wagons when my kids were smaller.

Not me. I was always afraid one of them was going to fall out while my back was turned, pulling, and I’d lose them

My kids never tried to get out, lol. But we only used them when they were older and not at crowded places. Mainly parks, the zoo, walks around the neighborhood. They were handy at parades too.
I never thought I’d lose them :grimacing: Small blessings right :joy: Just didn’t cross my mind

Lemon lot @ryan1

so - on Google Earth’s currently, it is showing that access blocked off and very few cars in the lot. I have no idea when that image was taken, but perhaps it is only used on occasion?

and from inside DS, looking back the other way, there is a Mears taxi stand.

This is kind of how my youngest sister broke her collarbone  Sister #1 was pulling Sister #4 down a hill. The wagon hit a bump. Sister #4 tumbled out :grimacing:

When we were kids we would take our wagon to the top of the levee (when there was no water on the other side). We would flip the handle back and use it to steer. It was a pretty steep levee. Not sure how we’re alive still.

Are you saying you’d take your radioflyer to the levee but the levee was dry?

Yes, lol!! Well the river was low and receeded. We were single digits so no whiskey.
