That is awesome. You have to come. Because of covid we are just staying in Kenya. Too complicated with testing to travel to others. We are along the border of Tanzania.

Now if I had to sleep in a tent, that’s the kind I could go for! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So my big question is … where do you use the bathroom facilities? That would be me walking to the facilities in the middle of the night and needing an escort!

You need to check out “glamping”. It’s a thing. :grinning:

I would stay in one place too after all that travel, did you have to take a Covid test to be allowed to travel there? How long are you staying? Are you going to Nairobi? That is where my BIL usually is when he is in Kenya every 4 weeks. He loves it there.

Hilariously, when my mom went on a safari in Botswana and South Africa, she emailed me and said, “Disney kind of ruined me for this. I keep having to remind myself this is the real thing!”

That is my dream trip. I hope I get to go one day.

The bathroom is part of the tent. Private and no need to go outside

Yes flew into Nairobi. Had to get covid test no more than 96hrs before landing. We ended up getting 2 to be sure the results were back in time.

So cool. Do they supply binocs and spotting scopes? What type of camera are you using?

It’s bring your own binocs. They drive right up to most of the animals but it’s good for spotting. Like today we saw a tower of giraffe in the distance and it was great to see them thru the binoculars. These pictures were just taken with my galaxy S10.
