Update…I just called to take one person off my former recovery free dining/now 35% off room package. CM told me taking a person off does not trigger losing the 35%, but adding a person or changing the dates would. And she confirmed that we have until 7 days before to pay the balance. MDE showed the change immediately but so far the removed person’s park reservations are still there. Will keep an eye on that to see if it changes, just to let everyone know.

Thanks @threeprincessesfourprinces for the info and yes keep us updated. So far from me removing my park hopper plus from yesterday; The new balance was immediately changed in MDE but as far as the tickets-they still show park hopper plus 
I’m not going to complain but I will keep an eye on them.
Mine disappeared altogether so I’d say you’re in a good place
So far, the park reservations for the person I took off our package 4 days ago are still there.
ETA: These reservations were added by CM manually however due to glitches in the system not allowing me to book his, so not sure if that makes a difference.
