Should there not be some perks for guests willing to pay more to stay onsite? This offsite guest concern is one that baffles me.

I’ve been in the loophole recently plugged community (like a week for TBTB) and it was a buzzkill.
I have total faith we’ll optimize this version by my big family trip Jan 2025! I’ve got 2 trips before that to play around.

Yes, it’s *&$%ing awful. VPN is basically the only hope. If that doesn’t work, we’ll be behind offsite guests and effectively unable to use lightning lanes.
Need to see what Disney’s excuse is when they update the UK page…

Is my math wrong here…
If guests buying G+ were redeeming an average of 2-3 LL daily before this. (Disney Dish). Now everyone gets 3 to prebook, does that mean the entire supply of LL will be booked before the day starts?
Also that means there is a going to be a big incentive to book a fake 14 day hotel to prebook at 21 days and then just eat the $200 fee. $200 is a low cost compared to not really getting much selection on your options.

Hopefully Disney will have the drops because they are bound to get a lot more pushback from people paying for it than a free service. We shall see.

- I think 3 pre selections is actually a negative and here’s why: If they allowed you to pre select your first ride for length of trip and select return time, then you would be better off…Pre selecting Tier 2 rides is completely irrelevant and actually restrictive vs selecting them as you are touring so you dont have to criss cross the parks. This also eliminates the 7am wake up
Its not that Im not interested in Tier 2, its that Im not interested in paying for Tier 2 and lets face it, that’s what this system is.

All feasible under Genie+
- purchase ahead
- If you had first ride booked for length of stay plus an ILL, this would be plenty and still allow flexibility of real time selections
- Can modify with Genie+
- Could do that with Genie+ while having better ride selection
- this is a plus vs Genie+
- this is also a positive
I think the people that like this are sadly mistaken. Wait until you try and use this in practice. When you get to HS and you have SDD, Indy and Star Tours pre booked and go to ride everything else and its 90 min waits and LL’s are sold out
You will be clamouring for Genie+
This system is terrible (except at AK)
They went too far here…Remember when you HATED FP+? Well this system is worse than that b there are fewer rides available b of VQ/ILL’s and its costs a fortune
This could be easily resolved by keeping the 2 hour rule in place and allow stacking of your next selection (beyond your 3 pre selections) 2 hours after park opening. This would mitigate the tiers
