I went with my DW and my best friend. We got two separate studios. Booked at exactly 11 months. I got near HH, he got a standard room. He was waitlisted for near HH, and the waitlist never came through ![]()
So I tried to call them to say “hey, we’re all grown adults, keep our room near HH, and his room wherever” They responded with:
I did have the points owner call in with the same request, and assured me it was in.
So we get there, and they pulled our room OUT of the HH area, so that we were both in the same building. I thought I explicitly asked not to do that. So I went back to the front desk. Now that we are officially checked in, I can talk to them… I asked for our room be moved back to near HH. They did, to a 3rd floor room way in the boondocks of “near HH” I said that’s not going to work, especially after my DW runs the marathon. (no elevator). They moved me to another room (with 3 free anytime fastpasses), and one of the maintenance panels is open
Then we go get a third different room, and finally get something halfway decent. It was a 2nd floor room, though I wanted ground floor. All the ground floor rooms were taken when we were moved out of our booking category. They did give us an email for a free night anywhere not on the monorail within the year.
So when I say I was anti-pixie dusted when it comes to rooms, this is why.
