My uncle - apparently on the road to confirmed bachelor - met the  of his life (for over 50 years) while in line at the Space Needle. She was visiting from Indiana.

They lived all those years in Kennewick WA. Practically neighbors of yours

Sorry…but when you’re constantly the one doing all the work, it gets old. Especially when they are “not feeling like doing anything with anyone” when you suggest something but then a mutual friend posts pictures showing them hanging out together at the same time.

I’ll do the work for a while, but it has to be a 2-way street.

It also points out that you are severely lacking in the daddy/offspring trips.

But then, yours are somewhat on the young side yet.

Me too but I’m not sure I could take the pace!

This is true. There comes a time when you have to cut your losses.

If I think of you as a friend, you’ve got a friend for life.

Not me, but that doesn’t mean the friendships are superficial either.

You and I don’t always agree on very much, but this? 100%

Indeed.

Some of the very best friends I have were first “only” online friends. And some I care very deeply for despite never or only briefly having met “IRL”. Never did meet David/DreamfindersGhost, but feeling his loss deeply.

You are wise.

I am so putting this in my back pocket. I have a feeling I’m gonna need this proof somewhere in the future.

Set a bookmark, name it, and pin it to the top of your bookmarks.

For ease of retrieval.

Oh, that might be easier.

I was just going to tattoo it to my forehead.

Have it tattooed in your hair.

Oh wait… :man_bald:t3:

It would be just as easy to see it there, so win-win.

Also still mind blowing that a plane friend turned into a plane spouse!

Crazy, huh? Even weirder, the friend I was visiting in Montana when I met my DH then met her future husband the same way! We have been married 21 years and my friend about 18.

I’ve made lots of plane/airport/travel friends, my sister makes fun of me for it all the time, but I can’t say I ever considered dating one
