Please Post Your Room Request Results

8 night stay at Boardwalk Villas, checking in Saturday of Thanksgiving week, checking out Sunday.

Requested via TP:
Bldg Disney’s BoardWalk Villas North Building, high floor (Flrs 3, 4 or 5) NE-facing room.Exmple:3055 on 3rd, 5055 on 5th.

Room received: 5053. One room from our exact requested room!!! There are only a handful of rooms in that section, and we got one of them.

Other input:

We would be so grateful to be matched with a high floor (3,4,5) in the North Bldg, and if available, overlooking the Village Green.

We are celebrating my 79 yr old Mom’s birthday, one she originally requested (and I planned) for her 75th. She ended up caring for my Dad though a lengthy illness, so 5 years later, we are fulfilling her wish! but…now she’s worried about ‘keeping up’ with her grandsons in the parks…so she’s asked to see about a nice balcony where she can retreat when she needs to rest. Thanks for any consideration, knowing of course a request is just a request.”

We got to the hotel around 10.30am, and while I had signed up for e-confirmation, I stopped by the front desk while my family was dropping off bags with the concierge, to see about our room request.

I’m glad I did, because the incredible CM said I had competing requests (one with a request for a closed balcony). I didn’t even know what that meant, so he called the reservations team to make sure they deleted the ‘2nd request”
for a solid balcony, reinforced that we’d like to be close to the elevator on a high floor overlooking the Village Green, and we went on our way to the parks.

He said that my room request was popular indeed, so no promises.

We were eating lunch in Mexico at The QS place when I got my room ready text.

I misread the room number and i couldn’t find it in the TP room finder. “Jeez. Where is this room?”

Then my DS16 leaned over and said, Mom, I think the room is 5053…not what you think it is.

I did a jig on the spot, just like I had a half hour earlier in line for the Three Caballeros when I secured our first test track at a drop!

We LOVED this room location.

We all spent a ton of time on that balcony, but my Mom was out there ALL THE TIME! In the mornings when she got up before us, when we had our midday breaks, and always at night. She was the one who told me we could see FW’s from the balcony.

We pulled one of the foot stools out there to add another seat, brought blankets out there, settled in.

The only con to this balcony was that there was no privacy barrier to the room to our left, unlike the one to our right. Sometimes You were sitting out there next to neighbors.

We felt like we’d won the room location lottery. Best room ever, especially how close it was to elevator and lobby.

Easy access to elevators, which took you to pool, to bus depot, to laundry unit….

It was a pleasure to come back to the hotel each night and have a boardwalk view at a garden/pool booking, and know the walk was so short to our room.

We moved from OKW to Saratoga Springs today—this is a 2 night David’s rental found on JTT’s table of DCV pre-booked dates that was less expensive than the discount we had for POP.

The room wasn’t ready until after 4, and we were at AK for close and the EE. We arrived about 7:30 pm.

We asked for 4701 or similar in the Paddock—quiet, a garden view standard room with a bit of water view. We received 6712.

Looking at our notes, it sounds like this part of the Paddock was in the range of acceptable rooms, but 6712’s garden view seems to look toward Disney Springs and a highway. (It was dark when we got here— I’m linking to the TP room finder, I haven’t taken any photos yet.)

Room seems fine. It feels more spacious because of the murphy bed and the big sink outside the bathroom—makes it easier for my DS and I to get ready in the mornings.

[Requested 4701] Room 4701 at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Got 6712

Off topic, but since you are in the Paddock area, can you tell if the pool has reopened?

Bonzi—it’s still closed. There was a construction crew there when we walked by at 7:15 pm on 12/11/25

Not the answer I was hoping for, but thank you so much for checking!

The Disney website still lists the opening date as “early December.” I guess anything before half way through the month is technically considered early, but they seem to be pushing it a little.

To be fair, they didn’t say what year. :man_shrugging:

Split Stay Dec 2-7 Swan Dec 7-9 Wilderness

Requested via TP

Room requested 7064 King Club Level

Received our request - thank you Len @len & team. Was a bit nervous as I believe looking at the TP tool there are only 5 of these rooms so very thankful & appreciative to enjoy this room.
We arrived at 9 am enjoyed our view of the Xmas tree, lounge offerings and chatting with staff. We were into our room by 12:30.

We were fortunate with our Swan room as well. Only requested high floor received room 1264 with great views of Tower of Terror, Boardwalk & partial FW view.

  • Resort: Pop
  • Class of room booked: Preferred on a bounceback
  • Method Used: TP request
  • Room Requested: 4263 only because I have to choose a room (I always make broad requests in the notes section indicating I don’t want a specific room but list what I’m looking for)
  • Additional Circumstances: In the notes I wrote: I would love to request any room in building 4 or 5 of the 1960’s section. I would be happy with any room in those two buildings. If that’s not available, a room in building 3 or 6 would work. Thanks for your consideration.
  • Result: Room 4216 which is the same floor and almost same location, except at the opposite end of the building, as the room I requested. The room was perfect. Near the stairs and was a nonconnecting room. +I always book standard rooms at Pop but only preferred was available when I booked the bounceback in October. This location will make me consider booking preferred again.

As a general note, I will make broad requests for specific buildings and have always had my request met at Pop. When I’ve booked standard, I’d requested building 4, 5, or 6 (when 4 and 5 still had standard rooms). I was placed in one of those buildings every time, usually 6, but those rooms are still very close to the skyliner and the lobby.

TP for the win again!!

Request for 3 traveling parties at Yacht Club via TP room finder

Room 1

  • 4th floor
  • SE facing
  • King bed
  • Adjoining Room 2
  • Proximity Room 3
  • Example 4061

Room 2

  • 4th floor
  • SE facing
  • 2 Queen bed
  • Tub only
  • Adjoining Room 1
  • Proximity Room 3
  • Example 4063

Room 3

  • 4th floor
  • SE facing
  • King bed
  • Proximity Room 1, 2
  • Example 4059

This was a tough request as there are only a handful of rooms that would meet these requirements

Instead got 3 rooms just around that corner of the building, 4071, 4069, 4067 (all 2 Queen beds). Basically trading King beds for a much better, heads on view of EPCOT from the balcony. Note that 4067 has a more restricted view due to the bump out in the building outline for the stair well. Also on the opposite side of the hallway is a smaller that normal elevator the gave us quick access to the boardwalk as opposed to going all the way back to the lobby.

That’s a tough request as you said, but great result regardless! :star_struck:

Posting for reference. This is for February. I made the request on TP today because I just received the email reminder.

Resort: POP!
Class: Preferred pool
Method: TP
I would like to request this type of room (required): Flr 1 (I picked a room on first floor, specifically 5167 because we’ve been there before, and then I deleted everything except “Flr 1”)
Additional information (special requests, etc.): Flr 1 or Flr 2
