Decisions, decisions! We will be checking in at 10am-ish.
Going to shoot for ‘grocery’ delivery around 9pm after we return from Epcot.
I’m going to lean into floor 3+, north building, NE facing. And will include a specific room as suggested. Likely won’t get it, but always worth a try.
We will be coming by front desk regardless to check bags.

You are not staying for fireworks? You can get your delivery at any time (unless you have alcohol or are using a service you must meet). Bell services will hold and refrigerate/keep frozen any items that need it.

We are going to do luminous on extended hours night. We will still have to go back and get bags from bell services and unpack and get to sleep at a reasonable time to do MK rope drop the next day. We will be leaving the park at 8pm, likely. I just amd yes, will have alcohol, so didn’t want to cut delivery close.

Very close to our request, and even more impressive since our whole travel party was able to be near each other. MIL/FIL were in same booking category and got 5515. SIL and BIL groups were in the standard room category but were in 5529 and 5530!
Building 55 continues to be our favorite for proximity to the Riviera skyliner, Riviera coffee shop/QS, and not too far from the CBR bus.

Not at all what we requested. It seems like miles away from the handicap parking, which was hard to find. Of course, accessible rooms with roll-in showers are few and far between, especially in the preferred areas. Odds are that you aren’t going to get what you want.
@len - Is there any way to add notes to the room for other people’s benefit? I thought it used to be there, but I don’t see it anymore.
Notes to future people: if you are not using an ECV or power chair and you are driving, don’t get this building. The handicapped parking is quite a ways away from the building and has a convoluted way to get there. It’s great for getting to the lobby, food court, and transportation, though.

I requested 9265 only because you have to choose a room but added a note saying that I didn’t have a specific room in mind but would love to have any newly refurbished room in building 90 and that my priority was building 90. (Building 90 is the only building at POR that’s been refurbished so far)
- Result: 9065
Request met!! These newly refurbished rooms are so pretty. The room we got was just below the one requested. We arrived at the resort around 11:00AM and didn’t get a room until I went to the desk at 4:00pm to ask if our room was ready.

Hi! We just returned from BLT. We requested a NORTH facing room (preferred view) through Touring Plans Bay Lake Tower,Flr 14,N-facing room.Exmple:8408,8406,8410,8404,8412,8402,8506.
RESULT: South facing room, 8409. I was disappointed, but it was OK since we weren’t in the room much and could see EPCOT fireworks.

All Star Movies, room 1957. Particular but really any Dalmatian would have been ok. Mostly I was experimenting.
We got 1918 which was fine. We don’t mind tree view tho this trip would have been funner with the view of the pups gamboling along the railing of the opposite bldg.

Also stayed at Saratoga Springs and requested a 1br in the first Paddock bldg.
Front desk offered me first Carousel. When I said we’d be happy to wait, we were told there would be a Paddock shortly.
And there was, right after we finished our Mickey head ice cream bars. Second Paddock bldg with a nice view of the parking lot and bus depot.
We’ve had 3 or 4 stays in the first Paddock bldg with views of the lake and fountain, so we were due for a parking lot.

Result: 6747
It was the right building, the right floor, but on the other side of the building. For my purposes it was perfect. Easy access down the stairwell to parking, and walkable to Disney Springs. By coincidence, it’s the exact room I had last year.

Requested: 5503 or similar on the zebra trail
Received: 5529 - a little farther from the lobby than the specific request, but on the zebra trail overlooking a small watering hole. Pretty quiet room. The sleeper sofa has seen better days and I was thankful my tired child didn’t mind. Overall a great room for our short trip.

Room requested: 1964, which is in Building 1 of the Dalmatians section, 3rd floor, near elevators
Additional circumstances: I didn’t add any, but my birthday was noted on the reservation when I booked the trip.
Result: Room 804 on the 2nd floor in Building 10, Toy Story section
When I saw the room number, I seriously considered going to the front desk and asking for a different room, but I also knew that Building 10 is the most desirable building due to its proximity to the food court and the bus stop. And I just made a conscious decision to be happy. I was already on a bus to Disney Springs, and my backpack and CPAP machine were in the loving care of Bell Services. I figured I could always ask for some different room if it just sucked… but how could it? How could any room in Disney World really just suck? It’s all Disney World!
So anyway, yeah, it was a wonderful room, and the TV greeted me by name and wished me a happy birthday. Right there. Just immediately. It was magical!!!
I’ll ask for Dalmatians next time.
