Packing tips? Compression cubes?

This is genius! And I regret shipping mine back earlier today. :woman_facepalming:

It’s always something.

Every trip.

After reading through all the recommendations from everyone, I ended up buying these cubes since they were dirt cheap, so worth a try. I hope you can still vouch for them! Are you bringing them on your trip next month?

I ended up buying the Vekken (?) today.

First time using cubes of any kind this coming Tuesday for a multi-city week-long journey with just carryons (bum bum buuuuuuuum).

LOL I just bought those today too! I figure either DD22 will use them for her trip to DC Monday or I will use them for Florida.

(I am usually flying standby so always go carry-on only.)

Do you have a link to those ones?

I’m usually wary of reviews, knowing an ex-business partner who used to pay for “glowing reviews”, but I’m willing to give these a shot.

Hint … if you order the teal ones they are several dollars cheaper and have a $6 coupon.

Hey, don’t be wary of packing cubes! They have a great following here. We don’t have the brand you bought but my family has used packing cubes for a decade, a different color set for each family member. We still have the same sets. hope you love them as much as we do for organization and compactness. We like the sizes of ebags. I bought a cheaper set from Amazon that I didn’t like because the sizes didn’t work for us.

I did order a pink, teal and light blue but I don’t think I saw the coupon!

Oh, never mind I saw the discount! I did get it!

So far, so good! And yes, we are using them next month.

Y’all who bought the Veken packing cubes: How did you end up liking them?

I’ve got them in my Amazon cart.

I personally like sets with the same size cubes in them so they stack easier vs all different sizes you really gotta tetris into the bag.

Hmm, that sounds sensible. I haven’t seen any same-sized sets yet on Amazon.

Nooooo! I like the variable sizes because they are good for different kinds of items!

I have the Amazon Basics and they are quite nice. I love them more every time I use them.

I bought 2 sets of the 3 packs for less than the price of most sets. I love them, especially if you can pack them lose enough to enjoy the compression aspects of them. I can fit all 6 in my standard carryon too as long as they aren’t massively stuffed full.

How about these?

Variable sizes, but they fit together neatly.

Yes all of mine fit together nicely.

I have three or four that are roughly 6x9 or so - rectangles, not too large
And then three or four that are long and skinny - something like 4x9 or so

I think I want to try the regular cubes, not the compression ones.
