We stopped for a cocktail at Abracadabar and I am much revived. Now we’re in line at L’Chaim for some pastrami sandwiches. Then more ambling around world showcase.
Also, my favorite thing about watching people ride Soarin the first time is how they grip the arm rests as if they’re actually going to fall into the scene. (Petar did this and it was so cute)
Whew what a day! We are back in the room after a quick dip in the hot tub.
In addition to the pastrami sandwiches (tasty), we also tried to the smoked salmon latke (delicious), as well as the Christmas tree shaped chirashi in Japan (best thing at any festival ever), and the Japanese matcha and red bean dessert (soooo yummy). Then we kept walking and got ourselves the pork schnitzel (not bad) and doppelbock (excellent and malty). We also walked on to Three Caballeros, and then Keith headed out while we rode spaceship earth.
We were going to stay for Harmonious, but Petar was pooped (honestly, same), so we exited the park and headed home. The bus was waiting for us (praise Walt Jesus), and we changed into bathing suits quickly and ran downstairs to catch the EWP!
Now… time to sleep like the dead.
Pray for me for tomorrow to get some LL bookings and also a good time for ROTR. Gahh.
We got moving a liiiiittle later than we meant to (I will not point fingers… ), but we got to AK at 8:55. We’re in line for FOP—I’m hoping most of this queue is outdoors and hasn’t made its way inside yet, cause it goes alllll the way back to FOTLK. But it’s moving pretty quickly. I didn’t feel like giving Disney my money to ride this one. So waiting in line it is!
