The Epic Tale of gMagicScott’s Pilgrimage to the Bubble - Part 10: Early Birds, Starbucks, and Liner Meets
The Crack of Dawn Awakening: Another Cosmic Conquest
As if by magic (or perhaps the insistent beeping of a Disney-themed alarm), 6:45 AM arrived with the swiftness of Hermes. Our intrepid hero, gMagicScott, rose to face another day of adventure in the Happiest Place on Earth.
With fingers flying faster than Tinker Bell’s wings, gMagicScott secured yet another coveted Boarding Group 1 for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as the clock struck 7:00 AM. A feat worthy of Star-Lord himself!
The Caffeination Station: A Starbucks Stopgap
Adorned in his finest Disney attire, our hero descended to the hotel lobby, ready to fuel up for the day’s escapades. Though Joffrey’s held his heart, gMagicScott made a noble compromise with Starbucks, procuring a Nitro Cold Brew, breakfast sandwich, and everything bagel fit for a Disney prince.
While Starbucks might not be the apple of gMagicScott’s eye (or taste buds), he graciously acknowledged their hydration contribution. After all, even the most magical of quests requires proper H2O intake!
The Elevator Pitch: An Unexpected Convention Encounter
As our hero descended in the elevator, he found himself face to face with an unexpected foe - or rather, an overzealous convention attendee. Like Gaston boasting of his exploits, this Lion’s Club member attempted to recruit gMagicScott to their pride. But our Disney-bound hero had bigger fish (or perhaps, mice) to fry!
The Lyft to the Bubble: A Marathon Detour
With a Lyft chariot secured, gMagicScott embarked on his journey to the Disney Bubble. As the clock struck 9:01 AM, he breached the hallowed gates, entering a realm where even traffic jams are sprinkled with pixie dust.
But wait! Like a plot twist in a Disney movie, our hero’s drop-off location had been magically modified. The cause? A Half Marathon event that would make even Hercules break a sweat. gMagicScott took a moment to mentally high-five the valiant Liner runners @OBNurseNH, @FelisLachesis DW, and @FeatherYogi. May their race times be as impressive as Dash’s sprint in The Incredibles!
The Magical Meetup: A Liner Rendezvous
Just when gMagicScott thought his morning couldn’t get more magical, fate (or perhaps the Disney gods) intervened. Like characters from different movies crossing over, our hero found himself face to face with none other than Felis!
This chance encounter, worthy of its own Disney short, was brief but delightful. As Felis and company set off for the monorail and Magic Kingdom adventures, gMagicScott turned his sights to Epcot, ready to embark on another day of wonder in Walt’s world.
And so, dear Liners, we leave our hero at the threshold of Epcot, his heart full of caffeine and his spirit brimming with anticipation. What marvels await in the park of tomorrow? Will gMagicScott conquer more culinary quests? And will Cosmic Rewind’s song selection top yesterday’s groovy tunes?

Ah, the magical chime of the tapstyle - a sound sweeter than Ariel’s siren song! Our intrepid hero, gMagicScott, has once again breached the gates of Epcot, ready for another day of adventure.
First order of business: a daring rescue mission at the Camera Shop. Like Indiana Jones recovering lost artifacts, our hero reclaimed three ride photos that had gone astray in the digital realm. With his memories safely secured, it was time for the next quest.
In a move worthy of Buzz Lightyear’s strategic genius, gMagicScott made a pit stop at the Imagination Pavilion. Not to watch the Pixar Short Film Festival, oh no! This was a clever ploy to unlock the full power of Lightning Lane. As he watched the jumping fountains, our hero was transported back to his youth, memories bubbling up like the water before him.
With the swiftness of Merida’s arrow, two evening Lightning Lanes were secured:
• 4:20 PM - Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
• 8:05 PM - Haunted Mansion
A most excellent start to the day’s conquests!
But wait! What’s this? In the land of France, a chance encounter with the legendary FeatherYogi.
Like a fairy godmother bestowing a magical gift, she presented gMagicScott with a ticket to a RunDisney after party. A truly magical moment of Disney camaraderie!
No visit to France is complete without indulging in its culinary delights:

Crème Brûlée mangue et passion à la Confiture- A dessert worthy of Gusteau’s kitchen! With a satisfying crunch and fresh flavors, it earned a respectable 4 stars.

Cocktail au Gin et Aux Fraises - Light and refreshing, though perhaps a bit too light on the spirits. A solid 3-star performance.
And now, dear readers, we find our hero embarking on his boldest quest yet - braving the 80-minute standby line for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Will gMagicScott’s gamble pay off? Will he make it to Magic Kingdom in time for his evening adventures? And most importantly, will he find inspiration for his next culinary consumption while waiting in line?

The Remy Roulette: A Lesson in Wait Times
Our intrepid hero, gMagicScott, found himself caught in the web of unpredictable wait times. The “Touring Plans’ Lines” app, usually a beacon of hope in the chaotic sea of Disney queues, led our protagonist astray. Its optimistic 35-minute prediction crumbled in the face of reality - a whopping 76 minutes! But fear not, for even in waiting, magic can be found.
Fate, in its infinite wisdom, paired gMagicScott with a young couple experiencing Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure for the first time. Their wide-eyed wonder and gasps of delight proved to be a show unto itself, rivaling even the charming antics of our favorite culinary rodent.
The Greek Tragedy and Cheesy Redemption
Emerging from the world of Remy, our hero continued his counter-clockwise odyssey around World Showcase. The Greece booth beckoned with promises of Mediterranean delights, but alas! The lamb gyro proved to be a Trojan horse of disappointment - cold and bereft of tzatziki sauce. A mere 1 star for this Grecian misstep.
But lo! Redemption arrived in the form of Griddled Cheese.
This 4-star wonder not only pleased the palate but also earned gMagicScott his third stamp on the coveted Fromage Montage. Victory was now within reach!
The melon limeade, while refreshing, played a cruel trick. Its alleged alcoholic content remained as elusive as Dory’s memory. What began as a potential 4-star libation quickly plummeted to a single star when factoring in its hefty $11.50 price tag. Oh, the betrayal!
A Japanese Interlude
Our hero’s journey continued to the Land of the Rising Sun. A quick detour through Mitsukoshi tested gMagicScott’s resolve against the siren call of prepackaged Japanese snacks. The Pick a Pearl demonstration provided a momentary distraction before the true prize revealed itself - the Japan Food Booth.
Two sushi rolls graced our hero’s plate:

Wagyu Temaki Sushi - A solid 4 stars, though gMagicScott pondered the philosophical quandary of cooked beef in sushi.

Seeking respite from the Florida heat and time to digest his Japanese feast, gMagicScott made a beeline for the American Adventure. The Voices of Liberty, with their harmonious melodies, provided a brief but enchanting 15-minute escape. If only Disney magic could extend their performance!
The Quest for Knowledge: Biergarten Intel
Ever the helpful Liner, gMagicScott embarked on a mission to aid @ParkRanger & @LTinNC82 in their December planning. The prize? The elusive showtimes for the Oktoberfest band at Biergarten. Our hero emerged victorious, armed with a schedule and photographic evidence of the times displayed at the restaurant’s check-in desk.
The Blue Umbrella Miracle
In a stroke of Disney magic, gMagicScott’s encounter with a Blue Umbrella Guest Services cast member resulted in his Guardians of the Galaxy Lightning Lane being moved up by 1.5 hours. A warning was issued that such feats of temporal manipulation might not be possible again, but for now, our hero reveled in his good fortune.
The Cheesy Conquest Continues
The Alps booth presented the next challenge in Emile’s cheesy quest.
The Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with alpine ham proved to be a formidable foe. Even for a Swiss cheese aficionado like gMagicScott, the funk was overwhelming. A rare 1-star rating was bestowed upon this Alpine misadventure.
Mexican Libations and Galactic Adventures
Seeking liquid courage, our hero ventured into La Cava within the Mexico Pavilion. A PMM Old Fashioned and a mysterious “dealer’s choice” shot of mezcal both earned perfect 5-star ratings. The familiarity of the Old Fashioned whispered temptations of future exploration into La Cava’s menu.
Fortified by Mexican spirits, gMagicScott embarked on a double ride of Guardians of the Galaxy. By some cosmic joke (or perhaps @Flavita’s mischievous influence), both rides featured “Conga” as the soundtrack. The universe works in mysterious ways!
Fromage Montage: The Final Frontier
Victory was at hand! The Forest & Field food booth provided the fifth and final entry in the Fromage Montage - Pumpkin mascarpone ravioli. A respectable 4 stars sealed the deal on this cheesy challenge.
Prize in sight, gMagicScott claimed his reward at Shimmering Sips - a Strawberry Cheesecake Softserve. While the taste was predictable, the sweet flavor of victory elevated this treat beyond its modest 3-star rating.
Magic Kingdom: A Whirlwind Tour
With Epcot conquered, our hero set his sights on the Magic Kingdom. Opting for the scenic route, the Ferry boat carried gMagicScott to the heart of Disney magic.
Armed with a arsenal of Lightning Lanes, our hero’s first stop was Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. A valiant effort of 914,300 points left gMagicScott tantalizingly close to Galactic Hero status.
The PeopleMover beckoned, but alas! The moving walkway stood still, forcing our hero to ascend the slope under his own power. Even in Tomorrowland, sometimes the future requires a little manual effort.
As night fell, gMagicScott secured a prime viewing spot for Happily Ever After. The sky erupted in a symphony of light and color, a fitting climax to a day of Disney adventures.
With the last sparks fading from the sky, our hero embarked on a farewell tour through Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Liberty Square. The journey culminated in Adventureland, where a POG juice-infused Tropical Serenade from Aloha Isle provided a refreshing finale.
The After-Party Beckons
As gMagicScott savored his tropical treat, thoughts turned to the RunDisney after-party at Epcot, made possible by @FeatherYogi’s generous gift. With Magic Kingdom adventures complete, our hero set off into the night, ready to dance the night away in celebration of both runners and Disney magic alike.
