I have fortunately rode ROTR at least 6 times…so if lines are thru the roof I will not be waiting in them. Even WITH a BG we ended up waiting over an hour a couple times due to it going down. I can’t even imagine what regular standby will be like. Hopefully this just means shorter lines for everthing else. 7 more days and I’m on a plane!!

For those of us who have not been to HS since GE opened, what is the quickest route to get to the queue if we have to go straight there after rope drop?

Go left around Gertie, past the Indiana Jones theater, past Muppets, and then into Galaxy’s Edge under the tunnel. Rise is the first thing you’ll come to on your left. No guarantees on how they’ll manage the line at rope drop once it’s standby - I’m sure CMs will guide the crowd.

Now that BG is gone, when do we expect TP to create reliable plans that incorporate RotR throughout the day? I created a plan last night and was surprised to see it did not have me go to RotR or SDD first thing even though I set my start time for the beginning of the early hours. Wondering if that’s actually a good idea or not.

It takes months of data minimum to get really reliable estimates. A plan will almost never tell you to go to something first that builds a long line quickly.

When a new ride / land opens it usually takes TP a minimum of two weeks, but typically a month, to get reliable queue wait data.

I’m betting with the 50th and all the excitement that TP will really be on top of this one. I’m really hoping they’ll do an early/mid October CL / Planning update.

(Of course they may be waiting to see when Genie gets released)
