No More Pre-Disney Welcoming Packet with Extras?

Every other time I’ve gone to Disney I get a packet in the mail from them with my itinerary for my trip, as well as the luggage tags and the Disney extras. Which includes the coupons and all of that.

But this year this is all I got:

The only thing personalized is when I can make dining reservations. Otherwise it’s just a basic pamphlet. No resort details, etc. Also no Disney extras, luggage tags or coupons…

I’m really starting to get bummed on all the things Disney are taking away from resort guests. First, it was taking away free fast pass, then the extra snacks (or swapping QS for snacks) on the dining plan, then the bus from the airport, then it was no more luggage pick up at the resort, then they took away buses to the water parks, NOW they aren’t giving me my luggage tags :joy: I’m starting to feel duped.

Nope.

The extras are in DME now, except for the luggage tags which you can still get at the check-in desk.

Can you tell me how to find them? I’m interested in the mini golf and the coupon for the crystal shop in Magic Kingdom so I can make a tiara at 10% off.

This I miss this terribly. Especially since the only dinning plans offered do not include 3 meals per day…or even a 2 TS option. We aren’t really wild about most of the QS options.

This. We could really make the Deluxe Dining Plan work to our advantage. All TS, with several signature restaurants. Due to dietary restrictions, we can’t eat at many QS options, so the new plan doesn’t work for us at all.

I don’t recall the last time I got the book you have the picture of–Maybe 2019???

If you booked a package, you can get the luggage tags at the resort.

In Decemeber, my booklet also included four vouchers.

The internet seems to be confirming that at check in you should tell them you didn’t get tour magical extras package and they will know what to do.

luggage tags?

That surprises me because I thought it had been that way for quite a while. I recall making a note for myself to pick mine up in Jan 2023 maybe, or 2022? One of the big liner meets. I stayed at Riverside on a package and didn’t get tags but knew I still could (and did)

There definitely seems to be some inconsistency. The question is, why?

And, the answer does seem to be just to go to the front desk if you didn’t get them.

I have also received emails with some of these details in the fairly-recent past, come to think of it.

Same!!! When they used to have Deluxe, it was all we booked so we could sit down all meals. But this was also back in hen Be Our Guest served breakfast… man, I miss those days.

Exactly!!! What the heck. Defeats the purpose. My old tags were beat up, so I threw them out thinking we’d get the new ones in the mail. I shoulda known better.

I STAND CORRECTED. I will edit my other response.

I was thinking the tags were from our trip last August with my two older girls. But I just saw the tag as DH was putting the suitcase back into the attic and it says, “50th” on it. So that means it was from the 2022 trip I did with Marie (they were still doing a lot of 50th stuff into 2022).

Yep, and the physical booklet of coupons. I brought them with me to Disney to give to @LTinNC82 and then forgot to give them to here. In fact, I have a list of things I need to mail to people that I need to do, including those!

I believe she got some too.
