We usually use DVC points, but in March we paid cash for a few nights at POP. We got coupons for 2 free games of mini golf and, I’m pretty sure, luggage tags in the mail a couple weeks before the trip. We never used the mini golf, but they still are in MDE under tickets and passes, and it looks like they are valid for 2 years.

I don’t recall ever getting anything. But serious question…why do you want/need luggage tags? Our luggage always has tags on it. Is there a reason you need special ones at Disney?

Ok I am so glad you said that bc I 100% remember you showing me the tags, but I couldn’t find them in my stuff and thought I lost them. 
I also got a set for my stay that started before you arrived as well. I got Mickey & Minnie and remember yours were Donald & Daisy.

That’s exactly and only the reason: they are fun! I just added one I got at Wine & Dine weekend to my dry bag for the waterparks. It’s fun!

My hard sided luggage does not have any tags or places to put tags. I always add a paper airline one, but now I am going to go grab one of my Disney ones!
And then promptly put them back in my suitcase.

Is your trip room-only with separate tickets, or a package? Did you book through a TA? Just curious what might trigger this.

Yay! This gives me hope. Thank you for putting the sparkle back in my eyes. I was starting to feel really down about Disney.

It is not through a travel agent. It is a split stay. Somehow the first part of the stay was booked as an AP ticketless package, which I didn’t realize. We completely missed our day for final payment because we thought it was room only! 
The letter with the tags says thank you for choosing a Walt Disney package.

I was trying to remember that myself! Maybe it was. I did book one bounceback this year. I was thinking it was a different trip, but it must have been this one.
