So they’re not phasing it out then? Good.

So.

During the nighttime spectaculars… am I supposed to watch

  • the fireworks

  • the projections

  • the crowd or

  • my wrist

I do wear glasses and so I am a four-eyes. But I’m not sure I can make all of that work

I will definitely be a wait and see on this. Curious about the cost, but at the moment this doesn’t excite me. Bring those features to the watch I’m already wearing, and you’ve got yourself a deal.

I thought the same about the fireworks.

This will burn through the battery…so hopefully this version will allow you to replace the battery.

This is a real thing at Target. If you don’t spend $100 you get sent back to try again.

I doubt it, they’ll want you to buy another one!

Yeah. That’s my fear…but the puck is different in this one…slightly larger…so it makes me think (or hope at least) it might.

No more swapping pucks I guess?

Hard to tell…might still be possible to swap pucks between MagicBand+ bands. But they definitely aren’t compatible with existing MagicBands.

The water!

In order to save money on launching actual fireworks, they will announce that everyone should raise their MagicBand+ bands above their heads for the show, and they will light up in lieu of the fireworks.

Secret option: your wallet.

Ooop, already empty.

Okay. Now I’m envisioning this moment. Sung to the tune of “We are the World…”

In Disney World
Not just for children
You are the ones who make a better day
So start your paying.

It’s a choice you’re making
You’re spending your own dough
It’s true you’ll make us richer still, just you, not me!

In wonder if they’ll make these work with the in-park hunts?
That would be logical. I know logic doesn’t always enter into things.
