Are you looking at a particular area? I just checked Kudu Trail and it looks right. I checked the area 4218-30.

I looked at Kudu. For example resort view brings up room #5322 and Savanna view brings up room #5320. Rooms are right next to each other and clearly have a savanna view

Ok, I love the new filters for the villas at Grand Floridian. I chose near the elevator with a monorail view and it is chefs kiss. Much easier than the last time I made a request for GFV.

5322 shows a pen and that would be resort view. It doesn’t make sense that 5320 would not also have the pen in view, and would then be resort view too? Are there Savannah view rooms on both side of the halls on every floor? The even numbers were standard view on lower floors in the past in that area.

I just looked at the current room finder and 4322 and 4320 are classified as 2 direct views according to the room finder. Did AKL reclassify a bunch of room over the lady 5 years?

I was testing this for my BLT trip next year, and the first thing I hit is 1 BR/Resort View. The TP Picks are for rooms out of my category range:

Keeping with BLT, if I use “Location Preference 2” to select “Near Skyway Bridge” and then go to the 5th floor, I get rooms between 7526 and 7538. But going from “Location Preference 1” and “Near Skyway Bridge” results in no rooms on floor 5. The only rooms it wants to show are 7341, 7341, 7344, which are all on the SE corner of the building, no where near the bridge.

All of the data comes directly from Disney. I can ask them. Let me get together a list of questions.
The room assignment team is really great to work with. They’ve done some fantastic behind-the-scenes stuff that’ll never get the public recognition it deserves.
