We were able to get this done today. So all the Moderate resort room types are updated.
Apologies for being late to this conversation. I am trying to switch floors on the room finder to see the views from all rooms that match my room type. I used to be able to specify a floor, and it would highlight all rooms on that floor that match my room type. I am having trouble navigating the room finder now. Can someone help? I’ll keep poking around to try to figure it out.
No. I am selecting Riviera, 2BR Resort View, High Floor. All I see is a white building?
Maybe try re-starting your browser, or trying a different browser? I’m currently using Firefox.
Well, that is strange… I must be doing something wrong.
Make sure you are selecting your options from the top down. (Don’t select higher floor, and THEN 2 bedroom resort, for example.)
I am doing that, but at what point in the process do you click on the building?
Oh, wait! I think I reproduced what you are seeing. It seems like a bug, but it happens if you select the Floor option AFTER you are already looking at the room map for the building.
Try selecting all your filters FIRST, then start traversing the building. If you change your filters after that, I see the white building issue as well.
Weird, now it is working like it used to. Not sure what I did differently, but thanks!
If someone can write up the steps to reproduce this, we can look at it.
Thanks for your help here @ryan1 !
I am trying to reproduce it, but I can’t. All I can tell you (at the moment) is that the building was not turning red (pink) for me. All I saw was a white building. When I clicked on it, nothing happened. @ryan1 , maybe you know more? It seems to work fine now?
As I’m playing with it, I’m noticing some bugs that I believe have been reported before, but not 100% sure. In any case, they are still happening. I’ll summarize here.
- Select Riviera, then select 2 Bedroom Resort View, then select the building. SOMETIMES when I click on Higher floor, I will just get a spinner that spins indefinitely.
- Select Rivera, then select 2 Bedroom Resort View, then select building. Select another floor. The FIRST time I select another floor SOMETIMES it doesn’t do anything. But if I select the same floor again, it will properly switch floors. Sometimes I have to select a different floor and then re-select the original floor I wanted.
To reproduce the issue @poohfanclub was seeing, I’ve been able to reproduce it a couple of times (I don’t know if it is an “every time” thing), do this:
- Select Riviera
- Select 2-Bedroom Resort View
- Select Building.
- Select Floor 7 (possibly twice, etc.).
- Select Higher floor.
At this point, the building turns white:
I’ve been able to reproduce this a few times.
@len - not sure if you want people to keep posting here or not? ![]()
Going through Room Finder to send in my room request by the end of the day, I ran into a filter issue:
Kidani - selected these in order:
Room Type: Deluxe Studio - Savanna View
Additional View: Sunset View
Location Preference 1: Near Pool
Location Preference 2: Near Lobby
After selecting Near Lobby, the building whites out and the Additional View and Location Preference 1 options disappear.
Attaching before and after screenshots. Examples of rooms that should match both Near Lobby and Near Pool are 7616 and 7622.
ETA: Also, if I set the filters through Location Preference 1, and then I change Location Preference 1 back to any (just Room Type and Additional View set) so that I can select a different option, the building whites out and is no longer selectable until I reset the filters. ETA2: This was the case for any filter - once set, if I changed it, all filters stopped working and I had to start again from the beginning.
I don’t think this is possible? The pool is at the other end, not close to the lobby?
The pool is in the middle. I agree that “near lobby” should just automatically get you near to the pool though.
I found another probable error in BRV Room #5521. I don’t think it has 3 queen beds? This is one of the top floor rooms that I believe still has a sofa instead of a murphy bed. But I wanted to check on that.
Am I remembering wrong? I thought at Kidani the pool was at the end? On that map, the lobby isn’t near the bus?
Oh, I am looking. I thought that was the end (after parking) but the building does extend. The sunset Savannah is on the other side of the lobby?
