New Experiences coming to the Boardwalk!

My god I thought mine were the only kids that didn’t eat sandwiches! I still am not sure where I went wrong…

I mentioned in my report that one meal, all I could get Jane to eat was a piece of Naan bread at Sanaa. My kids are the pickiest eaters around.

I challenge you to name a parent who has not had a meal (most likely a holiday) of entirely bread!

I have a hard time calling mine picky when they eat a lot of different stuff but sometimes they like refuse the dumbest things. Like I swear neither would touch a corn dog with a 10 foot pole. I think I had to bribe my youngest to just TRY a freaking crepe. (aka thin bread with sugar on it)

The pool bar, from the last time I stayed there still had only the same things as the deli— plus pretzels. I don’t think you missed too much there.

Ah, I think you’re right, come to think of it.

Which you can get at Joe’s.

Jane would eat the corn breading off the corn dog but not the hot dog itself.

Yes exactly- a lot repeats.

My son would only eat mashed potatoes (with duck sauce) for years.

What about those right there?

She liked the giant pretzel at Pongu Pongu in Pandora, but wouldn’t touch the regular Mickey pretzels. :man_shrugging:

I can’t blame her, actually. And the jalepeno-stuffed pretzel at Joe’s is NOT the same as the one you (used to be be able to) get at the Lunch Pad in MK. But it is better than a Mickey Pretzel.

As we were walking home from Epcot after the After Hours event (about midnight), the guy at the kiosk offered me free Mickey pretzels as they were clearing out their inventory. I politely declined.

I whispered to my kids “Mom would say yes.” (She was about 20 feet behind us on the path with Anne.)

Then not a minute later I heard him offering the pretzels to DW. “Sure!”

:rofl: :rofl::rofl:

Those three cartons of pretzels remained on our kitchen counter until checkout day. LOL

DD11 could probably give yours a run. She doesn’t eat sandwiches, pizza, mac and cheese, hot dogs or burgers. For main courses, we are limited to chicken nuggets, grilled salmon, ramen, pasta with melted butter, California sushi rolls and salad (no dressing).

That list sounds very similar to our kids! Each one has a quirky list, with DD9’s being the shortest.

Thankfully, DS14’s list has started to grow. He even ate steak at Teppan Edo, which is a relatively new acquired taste for him as of last year.

Call me when they don’t like chocolate! And on top of that they are an adult female now and still don’t like it which is like um that’s how I know where I am in the month lmao.

My son didn’t like burgers until he was in high school. I remember thinking how unAmerican! Lol

I didn’t eat sandwiches really until college and eggs until a few years after. And am still not really a chocolate fan! I got really used to filling up on bread when out and about or as a guest, growing up. Eventually I’ve had to start trying to rein in the impulse, especially as I do now eat more things!

I went looking for this thread and the announcements just to confirm that the QS was announced in June. I can’t believe how many blogs/facebook posts are announcing that the QS was just announced in this month’s Disney Files magazine.

Correct. Sort of. More of a confirmation it is happening, but not details.
