New Disneyland Paris restaurant looks incredible

Just saw these photos and details on the new Disneyland Paris restaurant “La Foret Secrete” (the Secret Forest), which opened on Friday (7 March) inside the Disneyland Hotel. Incredible theming!

I think once Arendelle is finally finished it’ll be time to plan another trip

Thanks! I just happened to effin check my DLP app the day reservations went live and I called them at their 4:45am I think it was. They couldn’t book it that morning and called me back the next day in the middle of one of my 1-1s with my team member and I politely requested he let me call the meeting early so I could answer and book it ha ha ha. I’m so very excited!

This looks amazing! We have only been to Royal Banquet so I need to return and eat at Lumiere’s and La Foret Secrete I guess.
Any idea when Arendelle will open?

Some time in 2026, I don’t think they’ve committed to a month (or even a season) yet, but based on the latest construction photos it looks like they’ve made tons of progress.

I am more excited about the Lion King land that is coming, but no idea when that will be. So maybe another trip to Paris in 2026 for Frozen and then sometime later for Lion King.

We’re doing Table de Lumiere so I’ll report on it! I booked Walt’s and Cafe Agrabah first day, Restaurant de Pirates and Table de Lumier second day, Chez Remy and this one my third day and the Royal banquet lunch the next day (but we’re going to Versaille that night for the fireworks and water fountain and the theatrical dance/arts thing they do inside…can’t remember what it’s called). I got every reservation I wanted and I will be stuffed ha ha ha!

That one I believe is 2027

Well the quick service food there is lacking, so you will be happy with all those table services!

Yes, you’ll be stuffed! But those are great choices, looking forward to following along.

That’s what I’ve read so why I went with all table service except breakfast which I’ll just grab a coffee and a croissant either from that place in Disney Village (Rosalie? I think) or room service. We’re staying in the Disneyland Hotel.

I hope you love it as much as we did last spring! It was worth every penny! Well maybe not the room service breakfast, but everything else

Fwiw, we found the food at Disneyland Paris pretty sub-par across the board when we were there in December, capped off with getting horrible food poisoning from PYM’s kitchen. (Avoid the caesar salad, would be my recommendation…)

While the new restaurant looks interesting, I wouldn’t worry too much over trying to snag any of the other restaurants based on the premise of their food quality. Just pick whatever is cheapest and fits in your plans, lol.

Oh that was bad? Good to know! I don’t really need much in the morning beside coffee.

Pym’s was the one place that just didn’t appeal to me at all of the Table Services. Completely not interested. I like our own Cali version just fine.

I can’t understand them but the video is stunning of the inside.

It wasn’t bad (was quite pretty to be honest), just expensive. But that’s Disney for you! We usually just get a few coffees each (they are soooooo tiny) and a pain au chocolat in the parks.

Good to know, where in the park?

We also ate at Royal Banquet (great for characters, food was meh, service was frustrating), Manhattan Restaurant (food was meh, service was meh) - both of those also were WAY overpriced for what we actually ate. And then in the parks there was the disastrous PYM’s kitchen when i already mentioned (was not particularly impressed with any of the other food there either, but was actually some of the better service of DLP restaurant) and Agrabah Kitchen (where the food was good, but we never saw our server again after she brought our drinks.)
