Sorry. Pulled pork with the vinegar-based sauce is the only way to go.
Can we at least agree that barbecue is a food and cooking out or grilling out is what you do with hamburgers and hot dogs on a grill?

Not to be difficult (well, okay, maybe to be a LITTLE difficult), but vinegar is a primary ingredient for ketchup:
It’s the new ranch.
Ok, vinegar-based WITHOUT tomatoes in it.
Ah. Okay. Got it.
I use the Aldi brown sugar barbeque and it is pretty good.
The best barbeque comes from the south. No doubt about it.
You misspelled “Memphis”-style!
Eh, I don’t mind some memphis-style. Its kinda KC Jr.
In Texas, we don’t put any sauce on our BBQ. The que speaks for itself.
I’m in Texas and the BBQ sauce that I make contains both ketchup and vinegar. Mustard too.
I’m sort of hoping this new joint has samples from each region. Buuuut, I’d be willing to bet they’re not going to be serving smoked meat and it’ll be generic grill food
Yes, generic BBQ. There are at least four different BBQ styles in Texas alone.
Nope. Carolina.
I have never likes the vinegar or yellow BBQ sauces that are popular in some parts of the south. My favorite are the “red” sauces that balance sour, sweet, and hot.
There are plenty of types of BBQ for most tastes. The question is if it is done well for that type. But let’s get real…they will probably have different condiments in convenient plastic packages.
I agree. But nothing compares to my wife’s home made sauce…
No, sorry.
Not in the UK. Grilling is what you do with the grill section of your oven.
