I’ve been. A very very long time ago when I lived in Cary, NC (suburb of Raleigh). It was fun but we went with a 5yo and did kiddie things. Pretty sure he was too short to ride anything like this.
The most impressive part to me with the Carolina state sign thru the park. Part in North and part in South.
I was thinking it was partly in SC. I guess I remembered correctly. I haven’t been since my son was about 7ish. He’s 33 now. I can’t math today, though.

The mall is gone now. Torn down last year. A local company is supposed to be building a headquarter location there but construction is slow to nonexistent.
