I can see the Pepsi and ketchup combo being similar, much like a sweet barbecue sauce.
… I’d try it as a sauce, not as a drink.

That’s it - chili sauce. My cousin is a bit of a foodie and was apologetic about the recipe but said all day in the crock pot did blend those flavors in an amazing way.
As you say, the pepsi/ketchup would be very similar. But runnier. But essentially quickie bbq sauce.

My mom makes those meatballs every year around Christmas. You’d never know grape jelly was an ingredient. The sauce is a really tasty tangy not-quite-barbecue sauce.

It is because the 4th of July is Tuesday so a bunch of people will lose fingers this weekend holding onto fireworks

Ah I didn’t realize losing fingers was associated with fireworks but it makes sense. It won’t be me! I am afraid of doing my own fireworks.

As you should be. My ex lit one of those spinning ones and then turned to walk away. It jumped in the air, landed on his back and proceeded to spin right there. Amazing he didn’t catch fire.
