see mine is 1000 and all the frozen foods I eat say 1100. Our vacation home still has to original 90s era microwave and it’s like 750w.
I haven’t had to do that in a long time. I wonder if MS has actually improved something in the last 5 years …
I have one super complicated sheet that was killing me last year, I think it ended up being either the buttons I created that linked to other tabs in the workbook for easier navigation or using the camera tool to show snips of other sheets in one dashboard tab.
Those features feel like they are still the old school code. When I cleaned most of them out the freezes stopped.
ENTER THE NERD ZONE
I think a lot of that old code was really optimized for older computer systems, so it is reaching for calls to Windows and even the CPU for things that are deprecated. While they may still be in place, Windows and Excel are going to use them in a completely inefficient manner.
I love Excel and it is still way ahead of Google Sheets. However, I’m pretty sure that it still has no function for weighted averages. An odd thing since Lotus 1-2-3 had one.
I know you Americans are all grotesquely fat and greedy, but just how desperate for immediate satiation are you that you need industrial strength microwaves?
British microwaves are at a maximum 900W. Mine — which, by the way, is way cooler than yours (see pic) — is 700W. I haven’t starved to death yet.
Is that a time machine?
I thought it was a Buzz Lightyear clock radio.
That looks like a baby food maker.
It’s actually a really great design. There are no edges or corners so it’s super-easy to clean.
That being said, it’s also not necessarily very practical in terms of what will fit into it.
They don’t make them any more. I’ll be sad when it dies and I have to buy a boring boxy one.
Oh, and it’s called Spoutnik, after the satellite.
Also useful if your frozen pizza decides to take up fencing.
Actually I think he’s correct on the actual answers
makes more sense
Yes, and I’ve always known the wattage of my microwave. I actually take it into consideration when purchasing a microwave. So I’m very confused on this meme. But thinking about my young adult children I could see this being something some people may not know. LOL
I think last time I bought one I looked to see what the prior one had for wattage, but once I got the new one, I never remembered what it was. Had it for over 2 years now, no clue.
