Technically there might not need to be an apostrophe even there. An apostrophe implies possession or ownership of the Furniture ltd. Without it, is is merely saying that this is plural Goodwyns name for their furniture store. Much like we say Ford Motor Company and not Ford’s Motor Company, etc.

Not necessarily. It might be a family business. With more than one Goodwyn. There is an argument that no apostrophe is needed in that case.
