True. Some were accidental, and others were intentionally ironic.
But it is wrong to say I “refuse” to heart, unless you say I also refuse to post in German. The heart system, to me is ambiguous and imprecise and, to me, foreign in the same way posting in a foreign language is. Hearting posts is entirely unnatural. If I want to respond to a post…I respond!

Truth! It feels so clean and uncluttered too! We took it all down the morning of the 26th and then went walking the neighborhood later that day and my kids were all like “Mommy why do those people still have their decorations up?”

I want to take mine down too and normally I wait until the first weekend after new years. This year is just blah. I barely put anything up to begin w/.

I didn’t want to take mine down at all last Christmas 
but I always do it on 6th Jan.

The day is over and I love having a clean and uncluttered house.
Plus, our dog wanted his pad back to his spot. His pad is normally where the tree is. He’s like Sheldon in BBT while the tree is up. Constantly looking at it like “that’s my spot”.
