Hilarious

I had to stare at this one for a minute before I LOL’d
Too funny
While we’re on the subject, a Boomer complaint.
To be honest, it was only catastrophic if the tape actually broke, otherwise, have pencil, will rewind ![]()

Finally, its National Get Gnarly Day
The last Friday in July provides an opportunity to embrace new ideas and toss out old ways on National Get Gnarly Day.
The word “Gnarly” gets a bad rap. It can mean “bad” or “dangerous” but can also be exciting. Surfers often use the term to describe the waves they tackle. Much like surfers challenging the waves, Get Gnarly Day challenges us to put some gnarliness into everything we do.

I’ve only ever heard that word used to describe trees ![]()

ALTHOUGH…some might describe the slightly warped sound the music makes after a particularly bad case of the tape stretching, but not breaking, as catastrophic. I had many a tape that kind of “warbled” as a result of a few players finding the tapes a bit…tasty.
She lives across the pond though… they break out of school there… I got that wrong again, didn’t I @Shmebulock?
That would be counter productive as when I go out, I usually head for the trees.
Well, there is that. Kind of like trying to play a crinkle-cut French fry. ![]()

Gnarly!
Calvin’s vet has a huge pump-action hand-gel dispenser that is filled with a pink-coloured sanitiser. It smells wonderful — lovely coconut aroma. I even joked to the assistant that next time she goes out, she just needs to pop a bit under each ear and on her wrists. She laughed politely.
This sounds so British
edited to add: They could add glitter to it too… just for funzies
That’s your idea of fun and I’ve been told to get out more?? 🤷🏽

Perhaps a bad choice of words; just head for the sea instead of the trees, and check out some gnarly waves. ![]()
