We got some much needed rest today and entered DCA just before 8:45am. Heading to Soarin and then LL for GotG. Beautiful day!

Funny story: I woke up at 5am this morning to the sound of what sounded like making out (or … use your imagination). I was convinced my wife’s cousin and his girlfriend were … up to something. I made it very apparent I was awake and even went to the bathroom to give them time to come to their senses considering they were in a room with three other people including HIS MOM three feet away.
Well this morning I realized it was his mom’s CPAP machine. It was making slurping and “sucking” noises.

Also, I am so happy to see how much you all got done yesterday, after reading that one trip report a few weeks ago I was worried something had changed with Genie Plus since I was there in December. It appears to still be great on the west coast, and worth the money. Have fun today.

I think the learning curve for those who haven’t used MaxPass is unfortunately high, but it works great. ILLs also helpful.
Btw, can you buy 3 ILLs in one day? I tried to yesterday and got all the way through to where I confirm purchase, but decided to do single rider instead. Seems like I could have done it.
Guardians now. DW and cousin are skipping.

You are only supposed to be able to buy 2, but don’t know if anyone has actually tried. It could be they just say that, and we take that as gospel. You should try again and see if it lets you.

Btw I tried for about an hour to get a LL for Incredicoaster but they were all for evening times. Made no sense because the ride was operating with a short wait and all the more popular rides had morning return times. Then just before 10am, morning return times came up and I got a 10:05am LL. 
I think it was an IT glitch. In any case, we rode no problem.
If you have an ECV in LL (and Standby, I believe), you skip the final stair portion of the line and board from the exit side of the train.

DLR was having horrible computer issues yesterday. I had get a callback to try to adjust my dates for a 2 bed and she said they couldn’t get in to see reservations most of the morning. She was able to find mine, but kicked me over to Guest Services anyway because apparently only they have the ability to change dates for a 2 bedroom. Almost 2 hours later, someone picked up and was able to adjust for me.
Btw, the 2 hours was spent listening to snippets of the usual songs, followed by announcements that I could purchase the album on iTunes if I want to hear the full versions

Having lunch at Smokejumper Grill. It’s ok, but I wish it was better. Burgers are kinda dry with cheap cheese and stale-ish buns, like the ones at a school cafeteria. Onion rings are the best part. DW liked the salad and DCousin’s girlfriend likes the chicken tenders and waffle fries.
Next up is a ILL for Radiator Springs.
