One last 20 mile run tomorrow and then let the taper begin! Hope everyone’s training is going well and we find time to run in between all the holiday festivities!

Good info here. Looks like the balloon ladies tracking accounts have been abandoned/disabled, so the next best thing is to know when they should be crossing each mile point.

Well of course I made a goof on an ADR. I wanted Cali Grill before the fireworks, so we can enjoy them during the end of entrees or during dessert. I got a 7:40 reservation thinking the explody will happen at 9:00. Nope, it’s at 8:00 
And with 2 weeks before go time, now I want to change it.

They routinely pause service for those who want to step outside to see the show. A 7:40 is probably perfect, actually. Get seated, order a beverage, perhaps put in your app order, and watch the show. When you return to your seat they will resume as if uninterrupted. They are experts at it!

Riding a ride during the race? Anyone done this? I want to try and ride EE during the race if I can. If I try, do they let runners on the ride? Do they allow runners to skip to the front of the line?

I will say that recent reports indicate they are NOT allowing runners special entry to the ride
Gotcha - so best bet for EE would be single rider? My pace should be good enough that I’ll be ok even if I have to wait a bit, but I don’t want to wait a ton of time or else I might get too stiff 
If it’s open and I had heard it wasn’t most recently.

They won’t stop runners, but they won’t give any special dispensation, either. The line is the line. Sometimes, guests will “pixie dust” runners and move them up, but that’s not guaranteed. If you get on the any ride while on the clock, you’ll need to be responsible for when you need to get off to keep moving.
EE looks like it’s right around mile 17, so you need to be out of there by 10:00 or risk getting swept

During Marathon weekend 2024, they were encouraging the runners to ride EE and had the single rider line reserved for us. They also prioritized us boarding over the standby line.
We were in line and on the ride in about 5 minutes!
Your mileage may vary. We will be attempting it again this year. Hoefully it works out.

I’m really hoping I get to do it!! This is likely my last Disney full, so it may be now or never! haha! I’m not as speedy as you but my pace should be decent enough to get me at mile 17 a little after the park opens so hope that ups my chances

Hope everyone had a great marathon weekend!
IMO, I liked the new start! All those great WS bathrooms at miles 2-3 when everyone needs them the most 
And the corral set up was SO MUCH better than 2022 and the runs I did before. I don’t know when they made the corral change, but they should keep it!
