Oh, I didn’t ask that. Partly because I’ll never ride and don’t care. But mostly because I did not want the inevitable 45 minute response, complete with youtube videos, interpretive dance, finger puppets, etc.

I’m not a rider either. Proud member of the chicken elevator club. I don’t have a nice medical reason for avoidance like you do–just sheer terror here. Last time, I made it all the way into the seat until I thought “I really don’t want to do this, why am I doing this?”, and I got up and left. DD6 tried to shame me into staying–she rode it and was entirely fine. And I was worried about her being too scared 
I just wondered if whatever secret the pointing lady shared would give me the semblance of control, or focus or whatever is needed to make me stay in the seat next time.

This reminds me: I recently met some out-of-town friends for dinner and due to circumstances they had to bring their 9ish year old daughter with them. She’s lovely, I really do enjoy her, but while we waited an exceptional amount of time for a table, she told me all I (n)ever wanted to know about Five Nights With Freddy, complete with singing and acting.
Now, if my kid tried to regale you with this kind of thing, I’d have let them have a moment in the limelight and then kindly but firmly shut it down.
Nope. I got the full show. All the songs. YouTube (and youtuber!) references, plot line explanations, the whole bit.
It was… a lot.

Yeah, we only let her go when it’s strangers that we know we’ll never see again.
(and I have had the full FNAF treatment more than once - no matter how much we try to block it from her youtube feed)

DVC Interlude
August 22, 2022
So on a whim, we just submitted a request to David’s to rent DVC points over Labor Day. I have no previous experience with renting points. I’m assuming that it’s way too late for anything to be available since we’re less than 2 weeks out. If so, I’ve got a Swan reservation in my back pocket.
Anyone have any advice?
