Agree with this. Though it’s a very expensive option, and the least worthwhile in terms of value.
Sounds like you have the info. now to make a good choice for your date night! I enjoyed reading everyone’s comments. I was inspired to actually check out flying fish’s menu and was pleasantly surprised to see choices for my party (partner and I - he’s a vegetarian and I’’ regrettably rather picky and don’t eat seafood)!
Same with us…but the New York Strip was perfect!
It’s fancy & will eat up 2½ hours, but Takumi-Tei was amazing when I went in July.
This is the kind of place I don’t think I am the target audience for. Too fancy and adventurous.
Hi, Jeff! What did you decide to go with and how was it? I am a picky eater looking for a restaurant for my husband and myself. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary during our summer trip. This thread came up as I was googling Le Cellier. I don’t think I can convince him on Backlot Express
We ended up going to Toledo and enjoyed every bite! Funny enough we didn’t end up going to Le Cellier, Yachtsman, or Chefs de France this time — instead we went to Spice Road Table for the Candlelight Processional package (which was a great option for a good value). Toledo ended up being our steak for the weekend.
Next time I think I will give Le Cellier a try.
That’s what I will probably book - Le Cellier.
We’ve had 2 date dinners at Epcot: Chefs de France and Tutto Italia.
We sat in the window room at Chefs, which was kind of fun for people watching and it wasn’t too loud or crowded either. I remember liking the food.
At Tutto Italia, I remember I really liked the food, but my husband did not. We ordered different things and I don’t remember why his wasn’t good, just that he was disappointed with it. I liked the ambience there better.
If you can bring yourself to leave Epcot, I liked Boathouse much better than both of those. Sit outside and it’s beautiful and relaxing and not too loud. We sat inside the last time we were there since it was lunchtime and hot outside, but it was so loud we had to yell at each other at our table to be able to talk.
I love Boathouse! Wish it was easier to get to from the parks.
