Doubtful. Not because it isn’t beautiful, but because with our points being resale, it is unlikely we would be allowed. Plus, the point cost I presume would be higher.
Yep! We have been getting to watch DGS2 pretty much weekly, and DGS1 a fair amount. But I have been working a lot lately, so DGS2 commented that while meemaw loves him, bampa doesn’t. But I will have an opportunity to redeem myself this weekend as we will be watching him for 3 days straight! Have to prove my love for him! (I think it is mostly because my wife has been giving him treats and I haven’t!)
It hasn’t been officially announced. But the plans have lots of handy info. And whilst some things like names can change, construction plans aren’t easily altered once building starts.
TS overlooking lake is named “Evangelines”, (name could change of course), with IP mural wall outside.
QS and Marketplace The market will be multi-level (1st and 2nd levels) in the main building’s atrium, looking out to the pool area, including splash pad, lazy river and slide, and the grand staircase will be a part of the area. The fitness centre looks decently sized, with a small fitness studio attached.
Community Hall is in DVC wing on 8th floor.
Treehouses (4) on FW side, linked by covered walkway from 3rd floor I believe.
Around 900 Rooms, 500 regular, 399 DVC (not sure if that includes the AFrames or Treehouses).

Thank you! I’m lining up to beg Disney to take my money, all my money, for Lakeshore Lodge. I have another $100 DVC tour next week which only helps whet the appetite, I’ve already told them to note my account our interest in LaLo (to coin an abbreviation that doesn’t conflict with a popular one already in use).
I went on another $100 DVC presentation this week at Poly Tower. I made it clear that I was mostly interested in the Lakeshore Lodge offering, but the DVC guy didn’t have any estimates whatsoever of when they might become available. So we continue to wait and see.
I’m guessing it’s too late for them to announce sales for 2026. 2028 seems too late. But I think they need some time in 2027 to wrap up construction and have a definite timeline.
I can’t remember if they started selling Riviera before it opened, but it wasn’t that big a time difference between sales starting and the hotel opening.
I did some googling and forgot Disney specifically said it would open Summer 2027 (which is in the title of this thread ).
Riviera apparently went on sale 9 months before opening and Poly Tower went on sale 3 months before opening. I would bet they will wait for closer to 3 months before. So March 2027 is my guess. Maybe Jan-Feb but I stand by my estimation that 2026 is too early.
