Changes to Stay and Scream officially announced. No holding pens, first queues are at the Houses.
I like this, no more standing in the sun. Unless you know, you want to.
I put it in my personal thread, but my DD23 can’t go to HHN this year. I can’t go without her since it’s our tradition.
I’d been refraining from watching too much HHN content in case this happened. It is a bit easier not knowing everything I am missing! ![]()

Will there be any guidance in terms of the order of houses, scare zones, and shows?
They used to have park maps. It’s all in the App now.
I like to watch vloggers on YT for this kind of stuff. I find VicentVision to be a nice guy who doesn’t “spoil” too many things with his reviews and such.
The first night , Premium Scream Night, is only 10 days away. Once Aug. 30th hits every vlogger will be there with a camera.
Orlando Informer and The Pugh Two are other good YT channels for fun HHN information.
Also, for the last 3 years, as we get closer to the start of HHN the offical “Discover Universal Podcast” will start releasing audio plays for most of the houses. You get a scary backstory and details you’d miss in the house without it! I love those stories!!
Thanks.
Premium Scream Night is Friday. There will be dozens of videos showing all the food by Saturday morning!! ![]()

The food is all inclusive at the event so that night is an unspoken “vlogger food review night” ![]()

Any recommendations for which night to chose September 26th weekend? Friday or Sunday??
Thanks
They will both be insanely busy that close to Halloween. If you don’t buy the Express Pass expect every house to have a minimum one hour wait. Some will be 2+ hours…
The Discover Universal Podcast is REALLY late getting these out this year. However, here is the link to the first “back story” audio play for HHN 34!
Thank you! I was just thinking about this earlier today!
@MeyerFamily i did an HHN in sept on a Sunday. It will have fewer people than a Friday for sure. That said, definitely do a stay and scream if you don’t already have park tix/AP for the day. Personally, I do the express pass since we only go one night and are able to do all houses/rides/shows. If you want to get more than a few houses done it’s the best way. Yes it’s pricey (like 2-3x HHN ticket cost) but I’ve found it well worth it after going one year without it
The DUP has dropped another back story today. We got one yesterday…Maybe this year it’s a new story each day leading up to the event. It was one a week in August - Early September during previous years.
I didn’t see this:
I have a friend that I think might need this.
For my very first HHN should I go in spoiler free? It is going to be tough to get to October!
SeaWorld started this trend a couple years ago. It’s a way to get an extra $20 out if people.
ScareZones really aren’t scary. They are wide open areas with people wandering through them…
Here is yesterday’s house story
You should listen to all of these. They make going in the houses better when you know the lore.
I am going with a friend that is freaked out about everything. She will not want a scare actor walking up to her (especially if they have a chain saw). I think the $20 might be “worth” the false sense of security it will provide her.
I started that one last night and couldn’t get through it! I may try again. Hoping the RIP tour guide will help with that background too.
I started one I didn’t know what it was and got Fallout spoilers, so I am also hesitant to click on anything.
