HHN 34 (2025) News, Updates, Planning

It’s not even February and we are getting the dates for HHN 34!

The event is, historically, closed on Monday & Tuesday of each week during the event.

If they do their multi-nights passes the same as they have in previous years the dates should be as follows -

Rush of Fear - (first 18 nights of the event) = Aug. 29 - 31, Sept. 3 - 7, Sept. 10 - 14, Sept. 17 - 21

Frequent Fear Pass = Sunday, Wed. and Thursday nights and the first weekend of HHN 34

Frequent Fear Plus Pass = Every Sunday through Friday night, as well as the first and last Saturday event evenings. (Aug. 30 and Nov. 1)

Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass = All 48 nights

Hope this helps your early Horror Nights plans!

Are those dates posted on Universal? I swear I saw them posted somewhere else and Labor Day weekend was not included.

They just put it out today with the schedule of events they released. I posted it in the UOR news & planning thread

Labor Day is the earliest it can be this year - Sept. 1, 2025

UOR states the event start date is Aug 29, 2025. That will be Labor Day weekend.

If they weren’t going to have the event that weekend, then I don’t know why they wouldn’t have just waited to start HHN 34 on Sept 3, 2025

The event did take place last year during that same Labor Day weekend timeframe.

Maybe you are referencing the multi-night pass dates I posted?? Those aren’t “official” yet. Those are based on the last couple of years of historical dates. Labor Day weekend was included for that as well.

I like to get Rush of Fear passes and I want to be able to use my same AP to go in 2026. Looks like my 2025 dates are going to have me arriving on 9/14/25! :tada:

Yeah, I think other dates were posted on Twitter but maybe it wasn’t the official Universal site. I will have to find who sent it to me.

The logo for HHN 34 has dropped. They are using the year “2025” in this logo. Speculation is that Universal is going to unify the event across both coasts. So instead of this being “HHN 34” in Orlando and “HHN 2025” in Hollywood both will now be going by the year going forward…

Any rumor on ticket sales starting?

They typically do it after Memorial Day. This year that is also Epic Universe opening weekend

I would expect we’ll have to wait until at least early June. That still fits historical patterns while being after Epic opens.

I had checked and single day tickets went on sale in 2023 at the end of March and in 2024 TP @josephmatt wrote a blog post that single tickets were on sale on April 4th. I think most other people look for other offerings that open later, but I usually only go two nights.

Has anyone here done the Group RIP tour? I am tempted to splurge and I have questions.

It will be my first HHN and I’ll be with DD15. I am worried about our efficiency since we have only been in the park once before, and I think I’ll find navigating my first one stressful. I’ve been saving a little money to do something special and I am.curious how highly people would recommend the tour.

I haven’t done the group rip tour but do purchase the express passes for HHN and definitely think those are worth it. Also, good to do stay and scream so you can be ready to jump in line once the queues open

Honestly, I was able to get through everything in a night with minimal waits just using express. The event is easy to navigate as well so not sure you need to spend the extra on the tour

Thanks this is helpful. I am a bit intimidated because we don’t know our way around very well and will have to research the best ways to approach the event. I’ll.have to math out the express + early entry + parking vs the RIP. But I always tend towards the cheaper option so.it is nice to know it can be done.

I totally understand your feelings of intimation. I had that when I went the to my first HHN.

If it helps the park is a circle / loop. It really is easy to navigate. Plus, you’ve got us to prepare you!

I believe @len has!

I remeber him mentioning it on a Disney Dish and highly recommending, so I am curious if that advice still stands!

This definitely makes things easier. We are also a “minimize steps at all cost” family.

Luckily the only thing we are doing earlier that day us possibly renting a pontoon boat on Bay Lake.

Oh yeah. I think that’s the fastest way to get through everything. Even faster than the Express Passes, which are also worth it.

If I was only going for one night, especially for a first visit, I highly recommend the group tour.

IMHO - The express pass is great if you are adding it to a multi-night pass. However, it’s as about as expensive as VIP tour for just a single night.

Last night was our next HHN announcement!

Five Nights at Freddy’s will be in Orlando this year… in a “new way”

Will this “new way” might be like the Fan Fest houses?? (Small batches of people, longer narrative story?)

That would be incredible!! I’m starting a rumor!!

I think they’re being vague because it was a slip of the tongue at a fan event not an actual announcement so they’re not in a position to say what it is yet.
