HHN 32 News, Updates & Planning

I think City Walk choices (food) are very good, but inside the parks I only like the food in HP. I think WDW does food better inside their parks. Sorry USO.

IMHO - Outside of WWOHP, I can recommend Central Park Crepes, Finnegan’s, Confisco Grill, Thunder Falls Terrace (new 2022 menu) and Green Eggs & Ham Tots for great food that isn’t available in CityWalk.

I really like Wimpy’s too, but there are better burgers in CityWalk

Thanks for the recommendations! We have tried the green eggs and ham and like them but was a little disappointed in Whimpey’s burgers. I’ve been meaning to try out Finnegans & I’ll have to check out the others now too.

I admit that the tots aren’t anything “amazing”. They’re just good tots with stuff on them. However, there’s no fast food place in my area that has it. Plus, I tend to eat them as a breakfast. (Oh! I do hate pizza tots. The sauce is so cheap!)

Wait I’m confused I bought RIP Tour and I’m pretty sure it includes all the houses…now you’ve got me worried!

In the past it sure did. And the scare zones and the shows.

I’m also about to buy the scream early tickets because I don’t see VillainCon anywhere or a list of attractions open though I know the ride is open. Usually they list the rides open during the event but it starts in less than a month and no list?!?

Here’s what my email says
"You and your party, along with other R.I.P. Tour guests, will be taking part in a structured, guided walking tour of one Halloween Horror Nights event night. Your check in time is listed below and your tour will last up to 4.5 hours, during which you will experience our haunted houses and scarezones (one time each, based on itinerary).

Before and/or after your tour (park hours permitting) your R.I.P. Credential will provide you Universal Express Unlimited to all available participating regular park attractions. The credentials can be retrieved starting at 5:30 PM in the Universal Studios Florida VIP Check In Lobby or when you check in for your tour."

My bad! Those are the “Behind the Screams” tours!!

I’ll edit! Sorry!

And I do see on the blog that Villain Con isn’t listed as an open attraction so Scream Early is getting purchased!

FYI with tax for 4 people that’s = $170.40 so the $40 is pre-tax.

I see mention of Express Pass for Villain-Con but on the official website don’t see it mentioned. Does anyone know if it has EP? I have Express Passes still showing up in my app from a year I didn’t get to use them. I kinda wonder if they’d work now since they are still there and we never used them? They have visible QR codes unlike some of the other things still showing up…so I’m curious. I’ll give it a try on Villain-Con if it has EP.

Yeah it’s unadvertised at the moment, probably to not draw extra attention right at official opening. But the Express lane was definitely open again today.

I believe they opened it earlier than originally planned because the standby waits have not been high due to only moderate demand, and/or lower crowds.

Thanks! I’m not going to buy it for one ride when we get it for the rest with RIP tour but if my old ones work, I’ll certainly use them as I already considered them a loss (We ended up spending 4+ hours in line for VelociCoaster due to lightning and never made it over to USF to use our EP pre party). I don’t think the RIP EP will work during Scream Early but I can try checking in there at 3pm to see.

I haven’t been posting pictures from the scare zones and such over the last week. They’ve been getting a lot of work done . It’s now at the point that if you don’t want to be spoiled it’s hard to post anything.

Only 11 more nights until HHN32 starts!

Oh! The newest HHN house podcast did drop last week. I love the theme. I hope it translates into a house well!!

I’ve seen rumors for Stay and Scream locations… but have they actually been confirmed yet?

Nothing official…I am wondering about how the houses that typically enter / exit in KidsZone will work.

It’s official! The Death Eaters will be appearing on “select nights” in Diagon Alley from Sept. 1 - Nov. 4.

I’m assuming it’s the weekend nights like it was last year.

I’m not surprised that Last of Us is where Descendants of Destruction was last year. It was rumored to be going in that spot during HHN31 speculations

still not final til the banners go up. usually we have a better idea but KidZone construction threw it all for a loop
