Harmabe Nights August 2

We got rained out back in June but here’s a picture of some of our debauchery  Making Timon blush.

I will be at AKL that weekend too  I do not plan to join the HN gathering but would love to meet up with the Liners in the World at that time. I have saved MDU’s contact info to my phone in hopes of finding you all

I’m not going to the party, but is there a group meet earlier in the day?

@diskate: I’m sure we’ll figure something out. I think we’re all meeting at EE at a certain time. I can’t remember. No reason we can’t meet before that at DAWA.

So I think core group may be entering at 4pm. Some kids want to do EE, and some don’t. For those that do not want to ride, I think Dawa would be a great location. So 4:30+++ at Dawa until the party

Let’s do it @Hollywood1939!

Adding to my TP. I land at 1pm. So I should be there for dawa. Hope I can get on EE same as all ya.

So I have ordered A LOT of henna along with “poof glitter” which is super fine dust like glitter that you “poof” on wet henna. I have been searching & printing many henna designs. Has anyone actually done henna, maybe at the kids school carnival? How hard can this be?

We have been to Harambe Nights and I think it will be fun to have extra activities to meet other guests and have more fun. So I am bringing (there is no way this will fit in our touring backpack):

  1. Henna and poof glitter
  2. LED Diva Dreads headbands for moms - easier to find us!
  3. LED necklaces for kids - easier to find THEM! They each have different charms on them
  4. Light up jelly rings - fun to wear but better to give away
  5. LED hair clips to share with others
  6. Really good temporary tattoos

I picture grabbing two round tables, pushing together and creating base camp. Then just playing, listening to music, eating and meeting new friends.

Henna application thoughts? Warnings?

I know nothing about henna, it looks squiggly and complicated. I wonder if there is a stencil available? I didn’t know about the poof glitter, do they do that at Epcot? What is the dress code for the party?

I am wearing shorts and my visor. I have full confidence in my free hand abilities

I ventured in here because nothing else seems interesting, but I have no experience with henna. I do think all of the “goods” seem like lots of fun and a great way to bond.

At other liner meets it’s been weird like what do we do / talk about. I think having an event carrying the entire night might be great. Hope it’s great anyway.

Yes, having a focus is always good. It’s sort of like the awful work “ice breakers” that always seem to crop up, regardless of the workplace. Like, who wants to do that? But, if there isn’t something, there is often nothing…

my Dh just asked if this is a topless event and said he wants to go if it is!

Everyone I saw had their tops on…

I’m disappointed I won’t make the big Harambe night meet but I’m really excited to do it with @Sorcerers_Apprentice. I’ll definitely try to post pictures.

Magic, on our last trip we brought home some light up figures like buzz light year and the little mermaid that came in our kids drinks. And also some light up ice cubes that came in adult drinks. I’m pretty sure that they said Windy City novelties on them. Can you buy those things direct without being in WDW?
