ehhhh yes and no. I think it’ll be really dependent on how hard it impacts wait times. FOP this morning is still rocking a nice low wait time. So long as I am not FORCED to buy these rides, I think it’s fine.

I guess the fact that there is no fast pass for these attractions other than LL+ makes it easier to tolerate. Everybody has to be in standby for Remy’s or RotR or they have to pay the full Individual Attraction Selection price. (ILL$)

I’m frankly shocked Genie hasn’t melted into a pile of circuitry-goo.
I miss being able to have all this squared away 60 days out. This “on the day” stuff is going to lead to a lot of annoying stress in the morning (and throughout the day)

My guess is after Day 1 Disney is going to be a little disappointed. I would have guessed that at least 5 of the 8 lightning lanes would have sold out. So far it looks like only ROTR and Maybe RAT and TT later. Space, 7DMT, MMRR, EE, FOP don’t look they are even going to come close since most have a return time pretty close to immediately.

I thought it would be more simple, like MaxPass, so I have not been down on the system (except the $$ part).
Now I have the sinking feeling we have all the unpredictability of MaxPasd combined with the complexity of optimizing Fast Pass (drops, refreshing, etc)

I think they have overestimated how many people will be willing to pay for those rides. If I’m going to pay extra it’s sure as shit not going to be for a super old ride that I’ve been on a million times before (looking at you Space!). They should have stuck to RotR and possibly Remy/FOP/MMRR.

Do we have any idea how many people this ends up being? I have absolutely zero sense of how noticeable the various bloggers, influencers, etc really are for this kind of thing.
