That is common in my state too. The city I worked in had a lot of hotels and the local hotel tax funded part of the city budget.

Oh, interesting. I always thought it was a single tax added for hotels on top of sales tax…but sales tax isn’t really included at all…just a laying of various accommodations taxes!!!

You can’t purchase gift cards with gift cards but why can’t you use your existing gift cards to pay?

Buy the wristband gift card with the lowest possible amount, then add it to the Disney gift card site to transfer money from another card to it.

Yeah, I have one for each Festival I’ve been to! And having my money on my wrist is so much more convenient than digging a payment card out of my wallet or a zippered pocket!
