Favorite WDW Park - With Ranked Choice Voting - FINAL RESULTS IN POST #182

My family did this over dinner the other night and I thought it would be fun to try on the forum. 4 points for 1st choice 3 points for 2nd choice, 2 points for 3rd choice and 1 point for 4th choice. In a week I will tally the votes and post the results.

Here is my vote:

1 - Magic Kingdom
2 - Hollywood Studios
3 - Epcot
4 - Animal Kingdom

Notes: In the 80’s Epcot was my favorite park so it has slipped over the past 35 years. 10 years ago HS was my least favorite, but TSL and SW:GE have pulled it up significantly. Both my kids had HS as their #1 and AK as their #4.

Absolutely nobody will be surprised by my number 1

1-Animal Kingdom
2-Magic Kingdom
3-Hollywood Studios
4-Epcot

But truly 3&4 are tied for 3rd to me.

I could live without going to Epcot again if it wasn’t for GotG. AK has two of the best rides in FoP and EE, and the immersive theming is top notch. Hollywood has more rides, but worse waits, but also great theming. I could just stroll through either park for hours and enjoy it. Having never been to MK until I was an adult, I just don’t have that burning nostalgia some do. Splash and BTM are two of my favorites, and Tron ain’t bad either, but the theming is lacking compared to AK and HS.

It’s difficult for me to rank Epcot any higher since during my last two visits much of “World Celebration” has been covered in construction walls.

HS has the great thrill rides
AK has all the trees and animals
(Both HS and AK have great, affordable TS restaurants)
EP is boring, but can’t wait to try GOTG
MK is a kiddie-ride park
(EP and MK just not worth a whole day for us)
