Why do I keep getting “Exception thrown while parsing SQS message.” when trying to evaluate my custom touring plan? … and more importantly, how can I get it to work properly again?

The linked thread was last updated 2 days ago. Has the issue been resolved? I continue to experience the same error.
I don’t think the site issues had anything to do with the touring plan evaluate functionality. Probably needs intervention. Summoning @len in case he didn’t see this thread.
