Epic Universe News & Planning Thread

The same site, but the US prices were cheaper. Weird, I know. Universal tickets are on both.

Now I’m stalking the site for when/if they add multi-day all-parks one-use express passes to 2026. Imagine hitting all three parks a day with express passes. Start the day at Epic, ride everything with EP, hop over to the other two parks and do EP there. Dreamy. On our non-EP days we’ll revel in the atmosphere and non-EP stuff. I don’t see the 2025 multi-day EP’s as being that interesting since you can’t get Epic and the other parks on the same day because of the tickets. AttractionTickets has said when they add 2026 EP’s they’ll tell me, but I’m not a trusting person. Assuming I can buy them, I’ll tell you guys.

That’s a great point. Although we’d be spending a whole day at Epcot and would likely end up getting at least one of the lightning lane passes. I see though that off-site only gets 3 days in advance to book for the multi pass. So I don’t know, I’m just really hoping Epic tickets go on sale soon!

I have!!!
Maybe that how I got confused with pricing. The first time I may have been on US site. When I went to purchase I paused because it was much higher than my brain said it should have been.

Looking at the 2025 prices, first half of Nov prices are $554 - $628/pp for 5 days of EP in a 8 day window. I guess/hope the price for 2026 will be similar. That is ballpark the same as the price for 14 day tickets. So, on one hand that sounds expensive. But then 5 days of EP! Assuming I can get them for Jan 2026, this will be our splurge for the trip. We don’t enjoy fine dining at amusement parks, so we save money there.

If they include Epic, I don’t think they will be. I think they will be more. I’m looking at April. Next sale, I’m just do it, lol.

You can check in and get your wrist band starting at 3:00 at the following locations:

  • Lombard’s Seafood Grill
  • Illumination’s Minion Café
  • Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast

The park closes at 5:00. If you are not already in the park at that time (through your daytime ticket) you cannot enter the park until 6:30. This year you can move around the park and start lining up in house queues as early as 4:00. The first houses open at 5:15-5:30 and will be listed in the app.

Universal Orlando (check out the “know before you go”)

There was a post on the HHN thread that they allowed entry at 6pm.

Okay, that’s just super confusing as to what time triggers what action :face_with_spiral_eyes:

So let me see of I got this timing down:

3:00 day guests with HHN tix can get wristband
4:00 can start lining up for haunted houses
5:00 park closes to day guests
5:15-5:30 first houses open
6:00-6:30 gates reopen to HHN only guests

When we entered the park on Saturday, they were allowing guest through the taps to line up for a kind of rope drop. The crowds were all held in one place until roughly 6:30.

This was a picture taken inside the park at 6;05, looking back at the main gate.

The streets around that line were essentially empty except for a few people I assumed had early entry.

yup that’s right.

Yes that is right. Basically, if you have a day ticket, get into Universal Studios before 5:00, grab your wrist band and head over to an open house. Here are the Houses that are open right now. I don’t know which opened at 5:15 and which opened at 5:30, but it is listed in the app.

Fallout: 40 mins
Five Nights at Freddy’s: 140 mins
Galkn: 50 mins
Hatchet&Chains: 15 mins
Terrifier: 85 mins
WWE: 25 mins

Oh yikes those times are all over the place.

I couldn’t buy XP for that night, it was already sold out. My day XP is no good for that, right?

Day XP is no good for HHN.

Those long waits are that long most of the night (Galkn may vary more). I know you might struggle standing that long, so you might benefit from knocking out all the shorter ones as they open.

Sometimes they sell an after 11:00 XP on the day of the party.

I’ll keep an eye out for that. Though prices for XP are really high! I think it’s like $250 for the XP, and about $100 just to get in

Oh fudgecicle! There is a dedicated HHN thread, and I’ve been derailing an Epic thread!

Ha! We will all talk about any Universal topic at any time! Post away on any thread!

That’s interesting. I wonder if the resort entrance has an advantage and lets you wander the parks at 6:00?

So it looks like the first thing to do is to try and knock out 5 Nights and Terrifier as quickly as possible? Then get to Grave and then Wyatt and maybe Artista then to Jason then Galkin/Fallout/Dolls in some order
