May I ask what is your priority for the Universal part of trip? HHN or Epic…
Personally I would plan epic as its own day- especially if you’re interested in things beyond the headliners for things like power-up bands, and casting spells, really Constellation Carousel after dark is magnificent.
But our situation may be different - my family are big fans of HHN, -we generally go every September, it’s included with our APs - while it’s important to us this year we choose to skip HHN in order to celebrate a big milestone for my youngest. We already had our big trip planned for December- we treated Epic as our family’s sneak peek.
If you priority isn’t epic and you see yourself heading back for another trip, than keep your plans on what works to support your trip. Head to Epic and consider it as a preview for your next visit.

This was the goal for August- my son finished his welding apprenticeship in Tampa so we celebrated with the boathouse baked Alaska. Epic was just a bonus

Hey, I might have missed something.. but is there any idea when Epic 1 day tickets will go on sale for 2026? We have a trip for Feb 2026 and would like to buy individual Epic tickets. We already bought Annual Passes for the UOR/IA (not activated yet.) Is this still TBD or is there a “release date” for these Epic tickets?

There isn’t.
There is at least one regular here who is waiting impatiently for them to go on sale.
A TA posted that the training says that the tickets for 2026 will be for any park, like they were pre-Epic.
For Jan 2026, I bought some tickets from a third party seller, AttractionTickets and their tickets are for all four parks. They are based in the UK, but they have a US site and I have loaded the tickets onto the Universal app. Probably not of interest to you since they are 14-day tickets. But that they are offered adds credence to the TA report.
The $30,000 question is When can Epic be added to AP’s?

I too would love this answer. If it’s within the next couple of months I will buy an AP and visit in April and December. If not, just April visit for us.

Did I mention that I actually priced out how much adding the tickets to a passholder resort reservation would be? The 3 day tickets were $527.16 per person (pretax). I only want 2 days, and those tickets are more than my AP was last month. They also include two parks I already have tickets for.

I gave this to Maggie for a whale wartching trip. 90 mins later she fell asleep and didn’t wake up for 18 hours. So “less drowsy” isn’t for everyone!

I had been hoping it would happen in Q1 of 2026. However, from what I am hearing from TM friends is that Epic is still struggling with capacity. They are already oversold with just day guests.
The parks are selling about 40,000 tickets a day. That’s about as much as Magic Kingdom. However, Epic only has 11 attractions versus MK’s 30+.
They are still not able to keep up with demand. Plus, there are a lot of frequent ride break downs and almost no ride can operate in the rain.
Adding in APs will make it worse. I’m so disappointed…

I hope this doesn’t push back selling multi park Tix that include Epic.
IMHO - Unless something changes about operations it’s going to be longer than expected. The park is still selling out routinely as is. There’s too much demand and UOR is making plenty of money operating it with only day guests.

Oh boy, that doesn’t sound good. I haven’t been keeping informed and didn’t realize Epic was so oversold. I mean, it makes sense for a brand new park.. but based on your comment it makes me worried individual day tickets might not be sold at all? If that’s the case.. I might have to do an Epcot day to try the new Test Track (one of my fav rides as a kid). I just didn’t want to have to learn whatever new lightning lane genie system yet. We went to Disney June 2024 right before the system changed yet again.

I agree. I also think they are just delaying making that announcement. That being said, I just need them to continue selling single day tickets to AP holders.

You can use the Single Rider line at TT, if that works for your group. No long wait, no LL to learn.

My random fan opinion is that they won’t offer less options for 2026 than they do now.
Also, that they are still not 100% sure whether or not they’ll offer any park tickets in 1Q26.
Once they start selling tickets for 1Q2026 they’ll have to stick to that otherwise lots of complaints and refund requests if they sell one-use tickets and then offer any park tickets.
The uncertainty makes me happy we have the long trip with the any-park tickets. I’m selfishly hoping they stick with the current plan until after our trip.

But an educated one. I am leaning toward buying the UK tix that include hopping to all 4 parks (with the next sale). That way I’m locked in even if they postpone selling the 4 park to park tickets direct.
Did you get the UK 14 day tix?
