DVC Shop confirmed this and provided a confirmation number for MDE yesterday — 8 days after the booking and after a nudge email from me. I’m assuming the delay was due to the holiday.
Has anyone booked with them previously? This is the only DVC rental company that @JJT tracks that I’ve never booked with. They haven’t sent me a contract, which the other three (DVC Rental Store, DVC-Rental, and David’s) did before sharing the confirmation number.

That really is a suspicious order of operations, right there.
I haven’t heard any negative reports on DVC Shop, so curious to hear others’ experiences…

I reserved a confirmed reservation with DVC Shop recently. I received my confirmation email with reservation # later the same day (a Sunday) and was able to link it in MDE right away. Have received several mailings and emails from Disney about the stay. Did not receive a contract from DVC Shop. Our stay is in early August. I also have tried to do a custom reservation with them a few times, but it has never worked out. I attribute that mostly to the last-minute timing (less than 90 days out, availability appears briefly and then is gone too quickly).

Here’s a unique one - 12 NIGHTS!
At 8% below October median it is a pretty good deal when comparing to all multi-night listings. There have of course been lower prices, but almost all were for much shorter stays.
When comparing to 7-nights or longer, it is very much a great price for dedicated listings.
BTW: This is the only listing 9-nights or longer recorded since 2024.

I confirmed receipt and DVC Shop said they don’t have a contract, they just provide the confirmation number which the guest adds to their MDE account.

Add another shrimp to the barbie, er Poly DVC rental to the 8/30-8/31 start date list.
FWIW: While there were a TON of August listings around this price in 2025 from 25-60 days out, last year there were only several. The way it is going this year, I’d guess we’ll see at least a few more 2-3 night listings at least, but probably none much lower than this.
