4-night AK Kidani 2 Bedroom 09/02 for $649/night or 26% under
In Sept 2023 there were a largeish number of listings for this room at $500 and below - but last year there were 2 and the rest above this $649 listing - many way above. Time will tell which way this September goes.
Looking at the complete data scatter chart (as opposed to just Sept listings above): this is the lowest price for a BC 1BR Villa in any June-Aug date by far. We just saw some lower April/May listings, so curious if this might be a trend for this room type or not.
100% true - It’s not the drop so much but the landing that counts!
I’ll never understand some of the stratospheric pricing for many rooms - and most of those never drop.
Personally, I’m never going to be up for many of the “good” prices I post either.
I’d like to try many of these rooms and may splurge in the future when I retire etc, but if my choice is $300+ a night or play my points game a little harder and stay at the Swolphin for resort fees only, I’m very probably going Swolphin.
6-night OKW Studio 01/07 for $227/night or 20% under median
Two interesting January charts: when looking at all rentals for this room 2-nights or longer, the median is just over $250 for the month and this particular listing hovers just over the 20% below median green band. (So, a good price IMHO.)
But, if you limit the chart to 6-nights or longer to match this listing, you of course see fewer dots, and the median pops up to just over $300. That makes this listing appear just BELOW the 20% under median bar.
While you can see from the additional dots to the left and below this listing that in the past we’ve seen more 6+ night listings, that ain’t many dots, so if I really needed a long rental like that I’d be jumping on this one.
Here’s the historical dedicated GF studio listings for November since 2023. While we’ll likely see some more below median listings as Nov 15th gets closer, you can see it won’t be a huge number of them, so I’d grab a “good” priced one that fits my trip now rather than wait and see if a better dedicated one pops up. You just never know.

5-night AK Kidani 1 Bedroom 09/28 for $519/night or 23% under
Looking at 2-nights or longer for that Kidani 1BR in Sept, that price is actually slightly OVER median for the specific month, even though it is 23% UNDER median vs all historical rentals.
BUT: when you look at 5-nights or longer for an apples to apples comparison, this rental is indeed about 17% under median - but in this case we’re only comparing to 13 listings in Sept since 2023.
Special call out: This one dropped in price but is still “only” 13% under median when compared to all listings for this room 2-night or longer.
But: since it is a NINE DAY rental AND A SAVANNAH VIEW:
I’m thinking any sub-$300 deluxe for that amount of time is a very, very sweet deal.
9-night AK Jambo Studio SAVANNAH 06/14 orig $432/night now $288/n or 13% under median
For the record: the direct from Disney cash rate for this room with the current Stay Longer discount would be around $553/night, and good luck finding a Savannah view for these dates. I had to get that price from a single date search in July.
