Disneyland Paris Trip Report!

Well I have not been on the forum a lot lately but I hopped on to answer a couple of DMs and your trip report was right at the top so how could I not indulge! Such a gorgeous park and thanks for sharing.

I can’t believe that it’s been less than a year since we were there and SO much has changed and reopened. I do also fully agree that when Frozen and Avengers open that the Studios park will feel much more like a full park. I’m sure we will be back to check it out. Enjoy! And I do really recommend the Disneyland wine.

I FINALLY found a decent DLP tshirt (no luck on an ornament yet) and Big Thunder is back up. Let’s try this again!

Oh I’m so glad it was helpful!

Did you check out the DLP spirit jersey? I love mine and it’s about the plainest one that you can get.

I was actually tempted by the spirit jersey, and I’ve never been before. I may still pick that up tomorrow. I have been shocked by the lack of simple shirts that just say Disneyland Paris!

I went ahead and bought Premier Access for Big Thunder since I had already had an unsuccessful ride and the line was longer this time. It was €13 but was able to book for an immediate time at 8:40. Basically a walk on with it.

That’s my favorite Big Thunder so far. It’s so much faster and the immediate speed off the loading area to get to the island is great. It’s also nice and long and has great views.

The differences in wait times between various attractions is bizarre.

Calling it a night in the parks. Going to head back to HNY and see if I can get a table or spot at the bar at the Skyline Bar for dinner and a drink.

Another productive day despite the slow pace. The only “new” attraction I haven’t done is Alice’s Labyrinth, although I’d also like to try and do Peter Pan and the Philharmagic tomorrow, along with repeat rides on Crush, Big Thunder, Space, Buzz, etc. I’m not sure yet which park and ride I’ll go for RD quite yet. If I can get up in time to get to WDS before the early hour starts, and be towards the front for Crush, I’ll do that and then move on to DLP, since Big Thunder kept a pretty short line for a bit. If I snooze too long will just go straight to DLP.

Between times here? Or between rides here and the States?

Like, 5 minutes for Phantom Manor and an hour for BTMRR? And 150 minutes for Crush? Just seems odd.

Oh for sure. Buzz consistently has a longer line than Hyperspace Mountain and the Princess Pavilion has had a two hour wait at times today. And generally I’ve found wait times pretty accurate, although that may be less true for the longer lines.

Plenty of seats available. I went with the Cosmic cocktail - vodka, cranberry and strawberry nectar, elderflower liqueur. It’s fruity and sweet but that’s how I like my cocktails.

Also got the crab cakes for a late dinner. They are great. Lots of crab packed in.

At the bar for about 45 min before I saw my first Avengers animations…jet arriving and leaving and Spider-Man swinging through.

Service here is…rough. The hostess was great, setting the stage for the experience. My waiter has disappeared. I asked for the check and had my card out when he brought it, but he has now not been by to process for almost 30 minutes now.
