I just noticed she has the baby listed in MDE as 2. When I went to add an avatar for the baby it asked for her birthday. Sheās turning 2 - not 2 right now. So, I will explain this important distinction to my sister and babyās Mom. Thank you.

It will not matter for CRT - you do not need to assign guests to the reservation. Just one person needs to be on it. No need to fix it before ADR day

Essentially, I had to cancel (not modify) all seven October park reservations and rebook under AP+resort. However, it still only allowed me to book 2 of 4 days for the November trip. This makes sense because itās saying I need to free up two days from my October trip. (Still unclear why it allowed me to reserve 7 when the limit is 5. My assumption is the AP doesnāt limit your park reservations as long as they are tied to a resort stay.?)
My biggest problem is solved at this point. (Booking CRT breakfast for the group, but not having a park reservation for myself.) 
This is way more complicated than it should be, which brings me to my next question. When will those 2 days be freed up in the system for me to finish booking for November? As soon as I tap into the first two reserved parks in October? The next day? 48-72 hours, etc?

You should be able to make a reservation for every night of a reservation + check out day + 5 additonal non hotel stay days. Still sounds like itās not pulling from the right buckets.
I would suggest canceling them all and rebooking vs modifying. Modify doesnāt change buckets I donāt think.

Yep, thatās what I did with the AP+ resort reservations. And it was nerve wracking having to check the availability calendar before hitting the e button. Ridiculous! (First world problems.)

WDW and their new system for dining reservations is arrrrgh!
I was able to book 'Ohana, but CRT and CG arenāt letting me book at 60. Calendar is at 60 + 1.

Try logging in from a desktop / phone (opposite of what you tried) and also make sure you are logged into your MDE so it knows you are a hotel guest. It is definitely buggy but usually works eventually.

I was able to score CRT - just not on the day we wanted. Cali Grill remains elusive, but at least the dates showed up.

DH wanted to do this so DGS would have something to āswipeā too, lol! Do they make bands for kids? I just canāt imagine him keeping one on. Thinking of getting one of the fob type things and attaching it to a small stuffy.

Iāve seen a variety of magic band puck holders on etsy. Attachment for watch band, for lanyard, or for keychain. Maybe one of those will better?

Thatās a good idea too! And probably a whole lot easier than trying to attach a puck to a stuffy Now I just need to find a cheap puck. I donāt think I have any bands where the puck come out but Iāll have to research it some.

You just need a small Phillips screwdriver. I think 2 screws.
If you dare with a MB+, you will need to put it back in the band every night for the charger to connect properly

I would only take one out of an old magic band. I thought only the MB+ and MB2 were removable. I only have 1 MB+ and 2 MB2ās that we use and Iād prefer to not mess with. I have several of the older, original MBās that I will gladly dissect. Iāll have to check when I get home. Iāll even buy a cheap or used one. Heās 2 so it doesnāt need to actually work or anything. DGS just likes to be a copy cat, lol.

The more I think about it, I want to find a puck that would work with Nemo or Squirt. Then I could attach it to a small stuffy. Itās his favorite movie. He even love Nat Geo shows on sharks and oceans. Heās not even 2! We watched the first 20 today of Nemo and when the barracuda ate all of the eggs he said ābad fish, save Nemoā.

For the littles that traveled with us, we removed the outside of the band, using the inner band. The inner band being the colored band. It should just snap away from the charcoal colored part of the strap.
Also, I bring some small rubber bands to help secure the magic band.
I canāt find a photo. You put one or several rubber bands on one side of the magic band. After fastening the band you move the rubber bands along until theyāre where both ends over lap.
You can customize an older MB for your little with stickers.
