Disney World With A Toddler

Update. I called and they credited back the cost of the tickets on the current package. They even waived the $50 change fee, which is standard cost when making changes to a package within 30 days of arrival.
Next up, I activate the bad boy. My original “resort” day plans will change slightly since I will now have a part ticket that day. I plan on going to EPCOT to watch Eat to the Beat. 24 days!!!
67 days until the Toddler trip, which I am a little nervous about because it’s different. In seven days I will be trying for a reservation at Cinderella’s and dinner at 'Ohana. I don’t want to disappoint anyone. :grimacing: That is why solo trips are so awesome …

Yay! That’s an excellent outcome!

If you don’t get what you want, set a reservation finder! I decided last minute that I wanted Chef Mickeys dinner - booked 2 days before the meal…and Ohana breakfast was booked the night before (on a whim - just by looking at the app). Both were for 6 people.

AND CONGRATS ON THE AP!!

I keep telling myself I am thinking too much like a Liner. There are plenty of people who have no idea about 60 day advance reservations and are able to score hard to get reservations same day. During mine and DH’s December trip, I snagged Topollino’s the day before while walking to/fro rides at HS. My sister’s first time to Disney (zero anything planned ahead of time) she went to Concierge and asked for a reservation at CG and got it no problem. I need to calm down, but knowing too much doesn’t help me do that. Thanks for the words of encouragement and support.

Welcome to the AP club!

Any chance you will be at the Liner Meet in early December?

I wish @Jeff_AZ !!! If I win the lottery jackpot you will see me. And we’re shutting down all of California Grill for a private Liner party. :joy:

Shouldn’t I be able to make park reservations? The November calendar isn’t up yet.

That’s a glitch. Maybe you have already used up all your available reservation slots and you need to modify an existing one?

Ok. That makes total sense now. I have ressies for my trip in three weeks. :owl: :face_with_peeking_eye:
Thank you!!

So there is a category for ap + resort reservations. Make sure your onsite trip uses those and that will free up your other 5 for when you’re offsite.

I’ve been calling myself a Liner for years, but there’s so much I don’t know. Y’all probably need to take my Liner card. LOL!

Next question. When booking CRT which is prepay, will the system ask if anyone in the party is a toddler/exempt from prepay?

Yes, it will ask if you have someone under 2

That is to say, 2 and under. 3rd birthday is the cutoff for paying.
